The village is unfortunately in a state of total disrepair, it is badly maintained and very dirty. In the historical centre, many old houses are uninhabited and falling apart. Some attempts at improvement can be seen here and there, but much remains to be done. The kindness and helpfulness of the inhabitants compensate for the bad impression left by the places.

The view from the terrace was nice. The kitchen is equipped quite fine, although we were not able to find anything to clean the dishes and the grill is quite basic (we knew that from the photos so we took our own with ourselves). Also, when showering, make sure you put the curtain all together inside or the whole room is full of water.DavidCzech Republic

The villa is secure and offers free parking onsite. It’s well located for a walk into (a very untouristy) town (Vico del Gargano) where you can find bars and restaurants. Various dining options a few minutes away by foot, and not much farther to go to the newer, busier part of town where you can get ice cream in the evening. Beaches only 10-15 minutes away. Kitchen very basic and a bit awkward to use, but we managed.
