Unfortunately we have spend only one night in this property full of grace, charm and history, with a little touch of eccentricity. Mr. Taylor and Sabina showed a great sense of hospitality and professionalism. It will be a pleasure to come again to Villa Sardi and to stay longer.

The location is wonderful. The B&B is 20 minutes by car from the center of Lucca and the train station. You can enjoy the peace and the sounds of nature. When you come back from a day trip, the room is tidy and clean. The owners of the B&B are kind, responsive and ready to solve problems, tell and recommend what to see and enjoy in the immediate area. On the main road, there is a parking space for the residents of each room. It's not a breakfast you can expect in Germany, France or the UK, for example.

The location of the villa - spectacular looks all around, peace and quiet. The rooms were good in size, large garden outside with a barbecue, 6 chairs and a large table. The staff was great, from the moment we arrived until we left. They welcomed us with a smile, explained what is there to be done nearby and helped with restaurant reservations. There is a small supermarket nearby (closed on Sunday) - 3 minutes walk - where you can buy excellent local products - meats, cheeses, drinks etc.
