If you want to experience true authentic Italy while in the Rome area or before embarking on a cruise, Tolfa and MGResidence is perfect. It is an easy trip to Civitavecchia port. Tolfa is full of history, beautiful views and incredible local food. Our host at MGResidence speaks English and is a great guide. Could not be happier. We will be back again.

Comfortable house with lovely natural light. Comfortable bed and good kitchen for cooking. My dog liked the garden to be free. Nice host left us some breakfast treats and good coffee. We enjoyed our week exploring the nature in the area. We would recommend the house it was spacious and very clean with plenty of hot water for showers and good heating.

The breakfast was okay, the staff was wonderful, the location worked well for us because it was within close proximity to Civitavecchia. Because there were so many of us (adult children, grandchildren) we were able to utilize one wing with was comfortable with the children. We all enjoyed the Monestary atmosphere. It was very different.
