Tignale seems to be a nice region. We were driving around the Lake Garda, visiting different towns and returning back to our accommodation in Tignale. We really liked and enjoyed Sirmione and Malcesine.

The view from the house and overall the amenities of the house were good. The host quickly responded and was good enough to meet us late at night to get in. I would say that it was difficult to find the driveway or parking for this place. The owner needs a good map on the site so people are not searching. And if it is late at night, it's even more stressful. Checkout was not all that smooth. As there were no instructions on where to put all the separated trash. the owner wanted us to bag everything and take it to a central point in town. Which I think is pretty unreasonable considering the whole house is clean, your paying a cleaning fee, there are no instructions on where the trash point was etc. When you have a whole family packed and ready to go, the last thing you want to do is look all over an unknown place for some trash point. After consideration, the owner took the trash in his three-wheeled vehicle.

Tignale is in a beautiful location in the mountains up from the shore of Lake Garda. The views were amazing and it’s our favorite place we’ve stayed so far on Garda. The town itself is very small and quiet which suited us perfectly but it could be a little sedate for some young people. The other thing to note is that the town is easy to walk around but most of the surrounding roads are incredibly steep so could be a challenge for anyone with walking difficulties. Also, the drive up from the shore road wasn’t the easiest drive but well worth it. We can’t wait to go back!MatthewGermany - 6.0Scored 6.0

Breathtaking views and great people! Sadly, this place is very badly connected and hard to reach, making it impossible to go around without a car! Such a pity considering what a suggestive place it is. The main activities would be hikes and trails in the mountains around. By downloading the "Tignale App" is easy to find different activities in the area and advices for the stay (where to go, eat and more).AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

In hindsight (great thing that) we should maybe have stayed three or four days at Hotel Zanzanu then moved to another location around the lake. In all we travelled close 500 miles in total, a large amount getting around the lake to various places of interest.

The space in the apartments, the views ,the kitchen facilities ,the laundry ,the staff,the pools,the idea it was pet friendly,the gym, the staff the only thing that we didn't like was getting lost but our fault as we drove in the evening making it extra hard to see road signs🙊we ate in the restaurant it was delicious food the chef from Naples.The walk from the hotel to the Porte Di Tignale we took was difficult but worth the challenge you need water sunblock and good shoes.we walked back up again 🥵its a real challenge 🤣AAnonymousSweden

Kitchen is well equiped and the sleeping room is nice with a good sleeping quality. The living room had a nice couch and die big flat TV provides numberous programs for every language. The WiFi is quick enough to stream Netflix or others. The hosts are alway very helpful and super friendly. Tignale is a wonderful area. Fantastic Restaurants around. We will definetely come back. The apartment is 10 of 10, newly furnished, spacious and very beautiful. The owner of the apartment met us upon arrival, welcomed us and explained everything about the apartment. He also give us welcome wine. I am also positively surprised about the communication, the owner speaks English fluently and perfectly, which is a real rarity in Italy.
