If going to markets/museums and places to eat, do check they will be open (especially in wintertime), I have been for 3/4 years and still find new places to visit. Another secret gem is the Pizzeria in Collazzone (Al Leone), at moment closed Tuesdays), lunch available, but pizza in evening is so good, just the other side of the main road from Marsciano, still with good travelling time to get to San Venanzo and back (1/2 hour), worth it. Also of course, Angelino and Peppa for their trustworthy lunches and dinners. Do go to Volcanic Museum (check times).

Excellent holiday for those who need to be far from the...
Excellent holiday for those who need to be far from the hustle and bustle and who like Italian cuisine of a high standard. Gabriela will prepare a more course menu (lunch and / or dinner) every day. During the week you will gradually taste different (every day brand new) specialties of Umbria. We have always been looking forward to the surprise Gabriela will give us. Fantastic desserts, including homemade ice cream ... Sergio serves it with local (but fine) wines. With Sergio you can talk about everything, he's a nice and wise guy. In the house are two well equipped apartments for guests, so ideal holiday for two friendly families. We have been going to Italy for years, but this was a really special holiday.
