The location is amazing!! The calmness and the view are 10/10! We had the possibility to park in the garage which made everything so easy for us. Also the possibility to have a coffee or a drink in the garden was highly appreciated.
Silvia in the reception made the stay even better with the information of the city and for getting us a reservation at Sette de Vino Osteria. Thank you!

One of the best locations in Val d’Orcia. The scenery from A440 is mind blowing. We had dinner - just us - and the most charming chef and waiter in one person. She was the most kind and authentic being just as her cooking.

Hotel was centrally located and rooms are really big. Washroom was fitted with functional mini Jacuzzi, which was really nice feature. They provided the under ground parking( you have to pay for it ).

Pienza is a beautiful village, the Val d'Orcia is breathtaking. We were welcomed by Paola, who is a magnificent ambassador for the property, she really made us feel incredibly welcome. The restaurant was also excellent, we had a fantastic dinner. We came off season, (March) which added to the tranquility. I think you would come here to enjoy a quiet, peaceful retreat, and it is a nice base to explore the Tuscan wine region.

Pienza is small but has an excellent selection for dining.
Pienza is small but has an excellent selection for dining. Sight seeing in town is somewhat limited but affords terrific views over Val d'Orcia. If you like Pecorino cheese, you have to visit the shops in Pienza. Quick bite, try Pizzeria Pummaro near gate into old center. For charm and quality meal try Pane Vino & Zucchero. For all round the Trattoria la Buca Delle Fate is good. For a good hike outside of town, don't stop at the spot where they shot the Gladiator scene, keep going.

Pienza has one main street which means it can feel crowded when a relatively small number of people visit. There is limited free parking which is also used by residents.
There are a variety of small shops which mostly sell typical regional products. There is an abundance of Pecorino and hams. It is possible to buy a range of different quality of jewelry. There are also a few clothes shops.
There is a beautiful panoramic walk on the entrance from the North.
The town is blessed with a variety of restaurants and bars which are mostly tradition Tuscan food. There are also at least two ice cream shops.
The market takes place on Friday. In October there are a number of events such as the chocolate festival which means it gets very crowded on the weekend. There are limited public services such as clean bathrooms.
I limited the amount of time that I visited the town during my week long stay mainly due to access to parking. You have to pay 24/7 which is a problem for evening meal when travelling alone in the dark at a parking meter.

We utilised Pienza as a base from which to explore various towns within the Val D'Orcia, a world heritage area. We could have stayed longer to visit more towns and explore mountain biking trails. Pienza in itself is clean, beautifully restored, has chic dining spots and it was a privilege to have visited.

Pienza is now one of our favourite destinations in Tuscany.
Pienza is now one of our favourite destinations in Tuscany. We have visited San Gimignano, Siena, Monteriggioni. Montepulcino whilst travelling by car and have found Pienza to be so pretty and enjoyable to be in. Parking was easy to navigate and the laneways of Pienza were quiet and so charming. The walkway/lookout side of the town provided vistas that you would hope for. Pienza is also quite close to those classic Tuscan scenes/photos that you may have seen previously.

I loved absolutely everything about this place.
I loved absolutely everything about this place. From location, to comfort, to the friendliest host (Tommaso) ever. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the Tuscan country side. It is close to Pienza and many other attractions and is just a gem of a place.
Nestled just outside the walls, and only a few minutes walk, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The view was so beautiful and having our own private garden gave us the opportunity to enjoy the wines we purchased from local wineries with a million dollar view. The house was beautifully renovated and styled. It was a shame we were only able to stay one night. I would highly recommended this place to be booked for a few nights and use it as a base to discover what Pienza and the Val D'orcia have to offer. Beds were very comfortable.
If you want to feel like at home, this is your place. Elisabetta and Gianluca were extremely kind to us at every moment. Breakfast is simply perfect, with km 0 and home-made products that make it delicious! The room is big and comfortable, at the very centre of Pienza. Elisabetta is very good at suggesting tailored plans and options in Tuscany. They are also very careful with COVID-related matters, always very much taking care of guests. I would go definitely stay there if back in Pienza or nearby. Simply perfect!
We stayed in several towns throughout France and Italy during our trip and this was our favorite by far! The room was incredibly spacious, clean, had wonderful views, friendly staff, and a great breakfast each morning. Having a car is a must at this location, but well worth it. This was our home base for four days as we explored the hill towns of Toscana.
We finished our honeymoon in this charming place! The Inn is cozy clean and so beautifully decorated, and the staff is amazing!! We enjoyed all the food and wine and the property itself (the pool is great) It’s so close to Pienza which is a cute little town and the rest of the main sites to visit in Tuscany. We’d love to come back soon! Thanks Giuseppe!
This property was magnificent we had the most beautiful room which was exceptionally clean and fitted out to the highest of standards. The owner Cristina along with her daughter take great pride in what they do.
The breakfast was the best we had in Italy, and nothing is a problem.
Congratulations on running such a successful business.
Perfect location, comfortable beds, great breakfast. Isabella is super nice and helpful and her husband makes the best the homemade tart! Order it every day - you’re on vacation! Best accommodations of our trip and Pienza was lovely. Laundry facilities near by. And the terrace- we wish we had more time to enjoy that beauty.
It’s in the historic center of the Pienza, near everything. Andrea is a wonderful host, very helpful and always eager to give plenty of info, not only for Pienza, but for the whole Tuscany. The apartment is even more beautiful than the photos! It’s fully equipped, pretty spacious and very clean.
Staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. We accidentally went to breakfast 15 min late and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were fed. The area is gorgeous and is a great place to sit back and relax. This was by far the best place we have stayed in Italy.
Location was right next to old town Pienza and there are a lot of nice restaurants nearby. Pienza is flat, small and easy to navigate and makes an ideal place to stay that is central to the heart of tuscany. Breakfast on the terrace overlooked a spectacular tuscan view.
We stayed there for 2 nights, the location is great if you want to visit both Montalcino and Montepulciano, cause it's in between. The staff members are very nice, the breakfast is varied, the only place we stayed in in Italy that served eggs which was nice. Very clean.
We loved everything about this place. The location is in the middle of nature, tipical Tuscany farm, but easy to get to surrounding cities like Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano.
The host is lovely and very helpful. We had an amazing breakfast with local products.
everything! staying there was the best part of our trip in Italy. the views are incredible, the attention from Marco was great , the rooms are awesome . it is very well located so you can go to the different parts from Val d’Orcia in no more than 20 minutes .
The room (108) had a superb view to south on the Monte Amiata.
As the terrace of the Hotel as well.
The breakfast was really good and had a very good variety.
The hotel is located in Pienzas old town simply at the best location.
Stunning property but what was really memorable was the service. Some of the nicest people we met during in Italy, the host and her daughter were so kind and accommodating! Also a fabulous breakfast spread every morning :)
Location was perfect for driving (or walking) into Pienza! Room was huge. Loved bathroom accessories. Wine from their vineyards was a great option! Breakfast was plentiful. Quiet and serene.
Luca provided excellent customer service and the hotel had great amenities, including free wi-fi and a delicious breakfast. The hotel was just a short walk to the city center.
Best location ever for a quiet serene and beautiful view from the rooms and the pool. Close to Pienza which is amazing, but you need a car definitely. Steep hills all around
Great location within easy walking distance from Pienza, a town I would highly recommend as a base for time in Tuscany. Lovely staff and good breakfast.
