The Agriturismo Marcarini is a family owned vineyard hotel which is managed by a brilliant couple, Chiara and Antonello.
As soon as you drive into the courtyard you are met by Chiara and Antonello who offer you warm and friendly welcome.
The rooms are large, very clean and very well equipped with everything to make your stay a comfortable and pleasant one. The toiletries are quality and I’m told the hair dryer was very powerful. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable. There is a mini bar in the room which contained water, soft drinks and three bottles of the Marcarini wine (all at an additional cost)
There is a dedicated area to relax with sun beds, towels, and a large and powerful Jacuzzi.
We decided to eat at the hotel and what an experience that turned out to be. Chiara is the chef and she will only use sustainably and locally sourced organic produce. Her cooking skills are of the highest level and the four courses she presented us with were just sublime. There isn’t a menu, she will cook using the current and available ingredients of the day, which makes the meals there even more special. Of course you can try a variety of wines with your meal or simply but a bottle (or two). The breakfast was as special as the evening meal, again with locally sourced and fresh produce.
Unfortunately we only stayed at the Agriturismo Marcarini for just one night, but we fully intend to visit again and stay for longer.
In short, the perfect place to visit for a relaxing and comfortable stay with the addition of a unique and high quality dining experience.

Very genuine, the family home of the owner, in the process of transforming in an agriturismo. The owners were very present, helpful and generous. We had a few special requests for food, and had the best dinner of our trip here… real home cooking. We enjoyed wines from the family winery, and the bed linens were wonderful traditional embroidered pieces.

Neive is in a perfect location for tasting and dining visits through Barbaresco and neighbouring areas of Piedmont, and hotel is in an excellent location within what is a very picturesque village.
Villa Lauri is a small hotel set 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Neive. It offers an outdoor pool and a terrace with views of the surrounding vineyards.

The villa was spectacular with an amazing view! Our rooms were lovely with a lot of history in the walls. Gabriella was extremely kind and friendly, she loved to answer any question we had.

A cute, authentic little town with AMAZING hilltop views over the vineyards. Fun driving in every direction. A couple restaurants in town,but no stores, however Albi is only 15 mins away so you can stock up there. Highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere quiet and convenient.
We absolutely loved this apartment. The hosts were so lovely and made us feel welcome in Neviglie. When we arrived, they greeted us with some fresh fruit from their garden. The apartment was nice and clean, with a stunning view over the vineyards. During our stay, we enjoyed exploring the wine region surrounding the village. The local restaurant and bar had great food and an extremely nice host, so we ended up going there every day for drinks, food or snacks. We only regret not having stayed longer in this magical place! Highly recommended!
The hosts live next door and were waiting for us on arrival. They were very friendly and welcoming and provided all the information we needed. Neviglie is a very quiet village and the views over the vineyards are excellent. Our trip coincided with the local grape harvesting time and the local truffle festival. We were blessed with good weather and had the best food on our trip. Barolo and Barbaresco were well worth visiting.
