I loved Casa Cani…The welcome was wonderful. There was no problem checking in. I loved the room, so comfortable and up to date with plugs, great bathroom, wifi worked perfectly. I had prearranged dinner…it was delicious and just what I hoped for. It was not difficult to find, even in the rain. The road might be a little rough getting in but that is nothing new in the countryside.
Casa Cani is a lovely property. I would love to see it in the spring and summer. They have a beautiful field of lavender and lots of trails to discover right out the front gate. The town is very close and there are lots of restaurants there. The breakfast was generous and delicious....I don't think you can beat it in the area....I will return for sure.
Camping Federico Farm offers accommodation in Pontremoli. La Spezia is 35 km away. There is a seating and/or dining area in some units.

The location was awesome. Up a windy road in a quiet spot not far from the hustle of the nearby tourist towns and beaches. The campgrounds were very nice and had lots of games for the kids. The community fire pit was a great way to meet people. The dining setup near our tent was very nice and the beds inside were super comfortable. There is no restaurant but sometimes the owners make pizza, delicious! The nearby town was very nice, too.

Fantastic location, lovely accommodation, with a lot of thought over details. Hot tubs available in the garden, which had stunning views of the mountains. Breakfast was self service in a cave like room, very evocative! All mid cons including air con. Two of us slept on a sofa bed, which was so very comfortable, compared to some of the actual beds we slept in on this holiday. We would have liked to stay for a week, rather than one night! Michele was there to meet me and gave me a great welcome. I met Camilla later and she was also very welcoming.
The accommodation is very spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. It's just a few steps from the main piazzas, where there are bars and restaurants.
I was walking the Via Francigena, which passes literally outside Casa Garibaldi. It couldn't be more convenient
