Great place to use as base to cover areas like Pisa, Grosetto, Beaches in Follonica and the Laguna of Orbetello. Massa Marritima itself is a nice hillock town with some interesting sight seeing and hikes that can be done,

I love the historical aspects of this medieval town.
I love the historical aspects of this medieval town. It is full of traditions and food is great. Most people are very charming and interesting and cultured. I would recommend a visit to this historical gem!! Also most of the osteria served home cooked meals and the prices were very reasonable considering we are in Italy. I found it affordable. La cantina or il Grosso and Troncos and most places I ate well

We appreciated 2 bathrooms, beautiful design of everything, possibility tu sit and eat outside, fully equipted kitchen, lovely traditional dinner for for all interested guests with a lot of remarkable facts about local olive oil. Our kids loved a swimming pool. Good distance to the various beaches, nearby you can visit an amazing town Massa Marittima, where there are (amongst other things) two big supermarkets. At night we could even use an air conditioning, which was great.

Massive deck, beautiful communal areas for relaxing inside, out and on rooftop with self-serve beverage facilities. Breakfast was varied and extensive, in house but sharing a kitchen with the trattoria next door I think. Would be a perfect base for group rides to explore beautiful Massa Marittima and the countryside and coast. Restaurants and bustling nightlife in Massa, a few minutes away are terrific.

It is in a good location, just down from the main bus stop and a quick walk down (literally) into town, but away from the busyness of the central restaurants and bars. Nearby are two fascinating museums in the old church. The hosts are really friendly and helpful.
