Beautiful building and very helpful staff. Amazing town and stunning views. It was my birthday and although we didn't tell the hotel there was some prosecco and a note left in our room. Bags were carried for us and helpful recommendation for restaurant.

It was in a superb location, the property was exceptionally picturesque, it was particularly serene and beautiful- a pleasure to sit outside on the balcony in the evening and enjoy the atmosphere.

Stunning location. Very off the beaten track for foreign travellers but if you are around that area would recommend staying in an instant. Very friendly staff who catered for anything we asked for, good rooms, excellent breakfast and the pool area is absolutely incredible.

The property is set in a beautiful quiet location with a local restaurant nearby.
It is the type of place you can just rest and recuperate from the world. Excellent breakfast served to your table and slightly varied each morning; lovely.
Maratea is a dream destination. A tiny lovely village up in the mountains, stunning beaches and the charm of countryside in between. Safe, welcoming, affordable. Suitable for families and teenagers, there are plenty of boat excursions and water sport facilities so one doesn’t get bored. Social but not too crowded. Will definitely come back!
Just careful, it’s vertical so distances seem to be much bigger and a car/bus is often necessary

Spread over a wide area on a dizzying hill side you need a vehicle to enjoy it fully. Our experience was marred by an occlusion that kept the sun away the whole time. The main centre up a winding road was plagued with cars even in the pedestrian zone. There was nothing special to see. The beach in Fuimicello is grey shingle neither comfortable nor welcoming although there is one convenient hotel bar to enjoy. The statue on the hillside appeared occasionally through the gloom.

Very nice small town, geared towards tourism, set on a stunning landscape, between the sea and spectacular mountains. We only had a walk around as we wanted to spend our time on the beach. However we stopped at Pasticceria Panza to taste their bocconotti: delicious!

It is preferable that you take a car, but if you don’t mind waiting the local bus service is regular and you can obtain a local taxi.
Remember it is Italy and Sundays can be difficult on public transport.

It was a surprise how Maratea is split into different sections the actual town is 5 km up the mountain. It has a pleasant square and restaurants leading from it. We enjoyed the views and there is a Michelin restaurant here but we didn’t fancy the drive in the evening. We were staying lower down and could walk to a little cove and had wonderful fish restaurant each evening ,so depends what you are looking for ! Also the port at Maratea is pleasant with a few restaurants and canoe trips.

A lovely old town, set amid beautiful mountain scenery with spectacular coastline. Worth driving up to the Christ statue for the views. Local cafes and bars in Maratea and the port were great. Lovely people and good value. Delicious fish lunch at 1999 Resataurant and tasty pizza at Brussello.
There are hardly any words to describe the experience we had at Ada’s place. Everything felt like a dream, far away on the sunny shores of southern Italy. The place is absolutely lovely, surrounded by the sea and under the peaceful shade of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious and the people at Amaranto such welcoming hosts. We are definitely coming back, this time for one week - to enjoy nature, the beaches and the relaxing nights looking at the stars. Thanks for having us Ada!
Hard to put it all into a small box but the main thing was the staff , everyone was always so nice and welcoming. Breakfast, lunch , dinner were all reserved waiting for us each day. The owner Fabio , wow what can I say this man takes pride in his hotel and rightly so the place is a hidden gem. The views by the pool are like something from a movie , the bedrooms are spotless and the entire area itself was also spotless. Fantastic food prepared for all meals throughout the day
Wow very nice center hotel in maratea close to the old town center very nice friendly family home running not to be missed , very clean. Nice rooms with stunning views from the pool and hot tub and nice view to see the Jesus Christ redeemer statue, owners are a blessing so kind and nice and very helpful , the hotel is only of a kind for her features it used to be a convent but they really transformed it in a cosy locanda not to be missed
We so enjoyed our short stay at B&B Mariposa, a stop on our drive from Naples to Sicily.
Angela was an amazing host, greeting our arrival with a glass of wine and delicious cheeses, marinated zucchini, olives and bread. The room was comfortable, with a view of the Mediterranean.
Breakfast was great.
The best and most memorable part of the stay was Angela herself - helpful, fun and delightful.
We were traveling by train. Le Tre Casette is ideally situated a short walk from the station -and- a 10-minute walk to the port.
The owners were marvelous, sharing the history of their home and of Maratea. They also recommended restaurants within walking distance of Le Tre Casette.
Our room had a gorgeous view of the port and the sea, with no traffic noise to disturb our slumber.
The property was just as represented on Bookings.com. The location was excellent, near the old town and the Christ the Redeemer statue. Restaurants were within walking distance. The best feature was the owner, Giuseppe…kind, good hearted and most helpful! My wife loved his booklet that explained every single thing.
This amazing accommodation overlooks the sea from a wonderful, private balcony. The host is the best part--warm and attentive. The breakfast both mornings went beyond expectations. There was a safe place to park our car and a restaurant a five minute walk away. Absolutely recommend!
It was amazing ☺️
The owner is a special lady,in a special place.... somewhere in the country of Maratea .
Very nice room ,cosy and comfortable, clean with many decorative details ,that made the whole concept, very attractive.
Special breakfast,....
I loved it 🥰
The breakfast setup was excellent. Parking is tricky here, but Sonia explained that we could park in the lot of a nearby restaurant, which we did. A great suggestion, and we did eat an excellent lunch there. The view from the balcony was great.
This was a beautiful stay, the hosts were so kind and helpful. A gorgeous home and town. They gave us great recommendations and had a beautiful breakfast prepared. A lovely balcony with a beautiful view of Maratea. Would absolutely recommend!
Everything was excellent. The breakfast was even better than 5 star hotel we stayed previous day. All were homemade. Maria and her daughter were very caring and always smiling hosts. We enjoyed a lot. The view was amazing.
Amazing staff, exceptional facilities, beautiful private beach and large grounds. Wonderful hotel restaurants and staff more than happy to recommend and book places to eat in neighbouring villages / towns.
We were welcomed warmly and this is really important to us. The hotel is very well appointed and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was delightful and full of local specialties.
