Beautiful old hotel, nice grounds. We stayed at the Suite Verde very nice confortable , clean and spacious! Breakfast was ok we had better ones!

The Hotel had a very refined ambience. I believe it stands on an ancient site that was once used for the storage of grain during times of Siege. There were Museum quality artifacts everywhere and I don't think they were reproductions. My room was spacious and comfortable. I had two balconies one for each window. Very handy for my tendency to do some sink laundry and hang it out to dry. Good mini fridge with two bottles of water per day. Breakfast was pretty good and the cappuccini were delicious. It was very close to almost everything I wanted to see in the Centro Storico and elsewhere. They gave me a good restaurant recommendation. The front desk clerk when I checked in was especially impressive but the entire staff was good to great. Very good elevator. I didn't get to try the bar but it looked well appointed. The little lounge area in the foyer of the entrance was comfortable and well decorated.

The location is in the old town, which is undergoing gentrification, so there are some pretty run down buildings. However, it was a great location and the area is safe.

I love that the have the mosquito screens. Was able to sleep with the window open at night which was nice. This place is a 30 second walk to the station. It is in the same piazza as the station.
