Paolo gave us instructions to help us get to the closest parking area and waited for us there.

Our primary reason for visiting Lanciano was to see the Church of the Eucharistic Miracle. The front entrance to the church was a bit hard to discern, but once inside it's easy to find things. The area around the church has some pretty older buildings and is nice to walk around. It was a relaxing visit for us, and the people were friendly. We learned a few simple Italian phrases before our visit, and found that helpful.

A quaint town made famous by the Eucharistic Miracle that happened there. A visit to the shrine alone is enough to visit the town. It's strategic position between mountain and sea make Lanciano a compelling proposition for those who want to soak in some nature.

The location was very central to the medieval part of Lanciano with a lovely local festival on the nights we were there. We enjoyed the little balcony. It is in a residential area which gives a very authentic experience. Car parking was available on the street not far away and we were able to drop bags at the door. Fabulous vaulted ceilings.

It's very prettily decorated and has everything you will need for your stay. The kitchen is small but very well-equipped for breakfast and simple meals, and there was also a beautiful cake left for us. Best of all, and not mentioned in the original listing, the house has a small roof terrace to sit out in the evening which was a real bonus.
