Set on the coast between Rome and the port of Civitavecchia, Villa Margherita is less than 200 metres from the beach in the seaside town of Ladispoli.

Great location, 2 minutes from beach, restaurants, shops, gelato all around, 10 minute stroll to the train station, 40 minute ride to Rome or a 30 minute ride to cruise port.
Hotel clean, tidy, bar, restaurant, breakfast included, terrace outside.
Good find, would stay again.
La Posta Vecchia was built in 1640 on Roman ruins that can be admired in the hotel's museum.

La Posta Vecchia was the most wonderful surprise, we had booked to stay at another hotel in this group of properties and decided to break up our journey from the airport with a stay at LPV. It was perfect from the welcome to the Tower Room; the team was so welcoming, warm and hospitable… and the cocktails were awesome, shout out to the boys behind the bar.
We had some fantastic meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner at the properties signature restaurant; equally we drank fantastic wine (thank you Stefano, a brilliant, friendly sommelier who was keen to guide us through Italian wines, and chose some special bottles for us) and felt like part of the family, start to finish.
Quick tip, grab some bikes and cycle into nearby Ladispoli to enjoy some casual seafood spots, and then head south of the hotel to Julius Caesar’s old seaside hangout, the black iron rich sands are supposed to be very good for the body.
Great stay, loved it.
Located next to the beach, the 3-star Hotel Miramare is in central Ladispoli. It offers a sea-view restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, and classic-style rooms with LCD TV.
Podere 1248 is a charming residence with outdoor swimming pool and free parking. Set in the Lazio countryside, it is 2 km outside Ladispoli. Rome is a 45-minute drive away.

Lovely people working there, it was comfortable and quiet.
B&B La Casetta is an independent building just 150 metres from the sea and a 10-minute walk from Ladispoli-Cerveteri Train Station, with links to Rome. Wi-Fi is free.
Offering garden views, Guest House Roma Express is an accommodation set in Ladispoli, 1.2 km from Ladispoli beach and 36 km from Battistini Metro Station.

Good size rooms. Host David, very friendly and accommodating. Location is a 2 min walk from train station.
Small town - easy to drive around. Convenient. WHY stay in ROME - and fight traffic. Stay here, on the beach, take the TRAIN in (8 Euro all day pass - train to/from Rome, bus, subway - all included).

I have returned to Ladispoli after over 20 years - in my teens I spent some memorable summer holidays there, as my relative used to live in Ladispoli.
This is a typical commuters town, so do not expect crowds of tourists! This means that you have an opportunity to enjoy shopping and eating out with locals - so, the quality of food is great and prices reasonable. Beautiful, black-sanded beach to relax on after sightseeing Rome. For more active - there is a sport centre where you can hire some watersport equipment or book lessons. Alternatively, you can enjoy miles of walks along the beach!
For ancient history fans - check out the "next door town" of Cerveteri with its world-famous Etruscan museum and necropolis.
And Rome - it is only 30-40 min by train.
Highly recommended if you do not mind to commute a bit to Rome.

Stopped by Ladispoli for a break and to have a drink. Enjoyed the lounge chairs while listening to great music (Bossa Nova Covers - Spotify). There is WiFi available to guests. Way too short of a visit but plan to return.

Ladispoli is primarily visited by Italians, but came across some English also. Most hotels and bars speak English and are eager to do so. Lots of good restaurants, mostly service fish on the seafront.

For a beach close to Roma it was as expected, the rubbish on the beaches and on the streets are an issue it’s a pity the local shop owners don’t take more pride in picking up rubbish outside their shops. We bought locally and ate at home. You can get a super large pizza for €10 and a 2 flavor gelato for €1:50 nearby although they’re is only so many carbs one can eat! Stone fruits and figs were amazing!! The sand is black volcanic sand expect it to be hot hot hot

We chose Ladispoldi for its convenience for dropping off our rental car - 37km to Fuimicino Airport and took around 40 mins so perfect for us.
Typical little beach town and has a few restaurants etc. Many of the residents work in Rome but choose to live in this quiet area.
The La Posta Vecchia Hotel was a pleasant surprise, a hidden gem close to Fiumicino Airport. We spent three nights before departing Italy, following a trip to Positano and Rome. The hotel manager was kind enough to upgrade us to the beautiful Tower Suite with views over the ocean. The Cocktail Bar was a quiet oasis to relax and read, and the food and service in the restaurant were excellent. We enjoyed touring the grounds and walking the promenade of the nearby beach. It is a spectacular hotel, and we will definitely be back.
Our stay was great, perfect location for a short weekend in Ladispoli to visit family. The jacuzzi was amazing and wowed us all. The apartment was super clean and beautifully decorated. As we were there only for the weekend, we didn't use all the facilities, but we couldn't wish for a better place to stay. We were nearby our family, in the Piazza Domitilla there's a bar and supermarket, only a 2min walk away from the apartment. Host was extremely nice.
Property was quiet, peaceful. It’s like a ‘country house’. Very clean , comfortable. Enzo and Etzio are gracious hosts, that go out of their way to ensure your needs were met.
Short drive to Lago Bracciano and town of Anguillara. If you want to travel to central Rome it’s a short drive to the train station in Ladispoli.
We will return for our next trip to Rome!!!
For a week at the beach in Ladispoli ok. The owner borrowed me his bike for day trips. Really nice! The Appartement offers simple standard, which is absolutely sufficient, if you spend a beach holiday. The Appartement was at the back of the building, so it lacked a bit of daylight in the rooms.
Last but not least: Don't forget your mosquito protection ;-)
The sea is close, quite a few beaches. The hosts let us ride bikes to the most beautiful long beach, 15 minutes ride away at a natural reserve place with very little people and beautiful sand.
Trip to Rone is 45 minutes long, the train staition is 5 minutes walk from Villa, return train ticket is 3+3 euros.
We had a pleasant stay here. Nice and helpfull staff, good food at the restaurant. Lovely beach pretty near to the hotel. A very good place especially when travelling with a car. We left our car at the train station nearest to the hotel and took the train to rome.
Loved how nice and clean the place was! Excellent location just down the street from the beach and grocery stores and such just around the corner, while also located on a very quiet street - really was just perfect; would stay again for sure. Wendy was a gem!
Small but delightful hotel on the coast with its own beach area (payment required). Rome is around 40 minutes away by train from the nearby train station.
Good choice of breakfast and outside evening dining, if required. Near to plenty of amenities.
Excellent location, a stone throw away from the beach and city centre.
The room was clean and well maintained.
The gardens and pool are amazingly well kept and beautiful.
The staff were wonderful at making my stay comfortable and a very happy one.
The location is excellent. Easy access to beach and shops etc.
The host was very accommodating and made us feel welcome. Always available for any queries.
Apartment is spacious and we experienced lovely cool breeze everyday when windows were open.
The location in Ladispoli is ideal if you need to take the train to Rome. The train station is only 5min away on foot. Ladispoli itself is a very lively town with many shopping and dining options. The beach is about 15min away on foot.
Lovely hosts, very flexible and helpful with check-in and check-out. Nice bathroom, independent heating, fast reliable WiFi, extra set of keys available on request, close to the centre of Ladispoli, the beach and the station.
Really great place outside of Rome and close to the beach. The hosts and the meals were amazing. We were able to walk here from the train station (it’s not close but it is possible). Easy walk to the beach.
Everything was nice the place was very big and clean, it's also near to the beach and only 7 min walking to the train station, also patrizia she was very kind and helpful)) It's recommend 👍👍
It is a lovely structure located on the beach. The bed is super comfortable and there a home-like atmosphere . The hosts are lovely, hospitable and discreet.I can’t wait to return!
