Very nice, spacious, clean, modern, comfortable accommodation. A very nice young woman handled a difficult arrival as our GPS did us wrong... so make sure you're heading to the right place! Apartment was not easy to find on a small backstreet and there was no signage on the building to identify the place, just a #11. It seems like a brand new apartment and it was excellent inside. Parking was easy.

We only spent one night there, transitioning from Taormina area toward our flight out of Catania airport the next day. The Palace Catania staff were very accommodating though. We had a 6 am flight out the next morning, so the front desk prebooked us a taxi for very early the next morning, and they arranged to breakfast bags to be ready for us. Truly, and wonderful staff!
A nice place as a base. Close to the Etna Mount and about 20 mins by car to the closest sandy beach.
The city is a little dirty and traffic is mad but so it is all over the island as I came to find.
You would definitely need a car to explore around!
