A lovely hotel with great facilities and very nice staff. They have a very good restaurant. We had a wonderful view of Etna from our balcony. After some stressful driving in Sicily we enjoyed two quiet days by the pool.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel, using it as our home base for day trips to Mount Etna and a nearby winery, as well as for leisurely days lounging by the pool. The breathtaking view of Mount Etna, surrounded by lush greenery and citrus trees, created a truly serene atmosphere. Our room was clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.

Amazing location inbetween the ocean and mount etna, on an orange and lemon orchard. The pool area is out of this world and the Michelin starred restaurant incredible. The rooms are beautifully designed and spacious. Breakfast was served on the sunny terrace overlooking the orchards and ocean, we enjoyed the homemade orange marmalade and orange blossom honey!

absolutelly amazing breakfast served by owner. He was very nice and all the time helpfull. We gor the reservation ticket for the lift to Etbna and ticket for free food in lift restaurant. We got into accomondation without any problems and the atmosphere was just great. There is very nice garden and the breakfast was served in garden.

Giarre is not a great tourist attraction.
Giarre is not a great tourist attraction. However it is a great center for touring East Sicily. We found it very strange that Sicilians keep to their siesta even in winter. After sunset when it got very dark and a bit cold, we did not feel like going to a restaurant (they open at 6 or 7). So we cooked our dinners. Good for us, bad for them.

Catania Airport.Bad facilities for disabled. Shortage of staff,and wheelchairs.Many disabled elderly passengers had to stand for over an hour. Giarre was beautiful,and full of character and warm friendly people.The new Bistro in the grounds of the apartment was amazing,with wonderful food and brilliant service.Also relaxing background music.

Quiet desolate place with nothing to do. Boring. On the other hand, it mightbe idea for anyone looking for a quiet place out of the way to spend a few days doing nothing. Our place had a pool (against separate payment which we found odd as we were never asked to pay elswhere. Pool was open to kids so be aware of this.

Nice base if you would like to visit the Etna.
Nice base if you would like to visit the Etna. Also the coast is not far away and with half an hour with scooter you're in Giardini Naxos (which is also recommended if you like a fishers/seaside town with a nice beach). We stayed over at Giarre the days after we came from Catania to travel further to Taormina. Giarre itself doesn't have much to offer for tourists, but it's nice to see the more local center with less tourism and less traffic. We stayed at Moni Rooms for two nights which I would recommend to everyone who wants to visit Giarre!

You have a splendid view on the vulcano from the terrace on the roof of the B&B. The sea is nearby, the beach is nice (2 km walk). Salvatore is a great host. There was Limoncello and delicious cannoli to welcome us. At the breakfast he serves great pistache croissants. Salvatore is very helpful and also has a good sense of humor !PaulNetherlands

Also on breakfast he served us what we choose. Really nice bonus was access to the roof terrace with view on the see and Etna volcano. We can only recommed to others who wants to visit Giarre for good price and perfect service.

The room was fine--minimalist but large enough and with an excellent shower, but the reason to stay here is the outdoors. The pool is extraordinary, large enough for lap swimming and surrounded by comfortable lounge areas--and a terrific bar.
