Daniella and Alberto made our time there so enjoyable. Great breakfast and cappuccino and espresso made to order. The property has an elevator, nice lobby area to enjoy a glass of wine, and outdoor seething as well. The rooms are cozy and the bathrooms appear to be recently remodeled. we didn’t want to leave!

The location is amazing. Beautiful lake right in front of the hotel. We had dinner at their restaurant and the food was exceptional. We did not speak Italian but the staff was all friendly and motivated to understand us. We used a lot of google translate. Our rooms had no AC but it wasn't a problem. You can sleep with the windows open a lots of breeze will refresh your room plus the ceiling fan will keep it nice and cool.

Gera Lario is a small village a bit removed from some of the busier tourist areas of Lake Como. Although you could swim anywhere along the lakeside, there is no comfortable swimming beach for families. The village has only a few restaurants and no significant grocery shops. We loved the house, the garden, the location and especially the care with which Roberta and Alessio look after their house and surroundings. We would love to come back again to this amazing spot filled with ‘love’! The beach is at walking distance, the best pizza place of the lake is around the corner (Pizzeria Spluga). But the outdoor dining area kept us home most of the time as well 😜

The room was a perfect size for my family. Ben is the ultimate host! He helped us arrange for a private boat tour that picked us up at dock just behind the hotel. Easy access to both sides of lake como if wishing to explore whole lake, stunning scenery on route wherever you go. Recommend visiting ‘Balcony of Italy’ which is just over an hours drive from the hotel. Great staff and a very friendly and helpful owner in Ben. Lovely breakfast and pizza’s in the evening.

The kitchen was well-equipped for self-catering. The beds were very comfortable. It is only a short walk down to the lakeside, so it is easy to walk on the promenade. Location is amazing for hiking lovers. A lot of really nice trails. I've seen many cyclists as well. I recommend take a walk to San Miro. Town is small but charming. And you have bus stops really close to the hotel.
