We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Sicily. The staff was really amazing. They provided us with a list of sights to see and beaches to visit, which was great for a first time visit of Tropea. The place is very peaceful, situated some 2 km uphill from Tropea (no chance of going to the beach by foot). All rooms are separate and on the ground floor, so the guests exit directly in the garden. Surprisingly it felt very friendly. The pool is rather small, but even though we enjoyed one afternoon at the pool and it was great. The pool area is shaded by trees over grass, so it made it extra chill in hot August. The breakfast starts at 8 (excellent breakfast), and we had to leave before that. The staff, opened 30 minutes before just to make sure that we had our breakfasts. Not much, but it just says a lot about the staff. I highly recommend the restaurant in the Villa. Very tasteful dinner.

The best thing about this hotel was the view and location. Area is quiet and secure as well. Parking if you can get it is right on the street just very narrow so be careful as people park on both sides.

To fully enjoy a stay in Capo Vaticano you really need at least a week. That's why Hotel Village Eden, on the splendid Grotticelle Beach, is bookable for weekly stays.

During check in we were offered an upgrade for our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The resort grounds were well maintained. The resort had their own private beach.
