Location was excellent. Beautiful property from the outside. A bit of confusion on Le Piannace and Daniela Affitacamere where buildings are together but appear to be operated separately. Host was kind enough to let us drop our bags early before rooms were ready. There were 5 of us. Two in the B&B upstairs and one in the downstairs apartment. Breakfast was prepackaged cakes and pastries. Apartment was not supplied with coffee. Perhaps the apartment operates differently than the B&B part and one is supposed to bring one's own things for holiday (not an option for us as we were through-hiking). Definitely need to upgrade the breakfast to fresher healthier options.

Generally we like some adventure and getting there is definitely an adventure as it seems all roads to there are mountainous and crazy curves the whole way. I liked having rooms: bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms etc to ourselves and the quiet on the mountain. Lovely view, beautiful flowers and outdoor space.

Beautiful location with stunning views of mountains and valley below. Room was well heated and had small kitchenette with stove,, stocked with coffee and tea.Hosts were extremely gracious and accommodating, sharing advice on hiking paths that can be started from the hotel. Grocery store and Coop in Pieve Fosciana are right at the bottom of the winding 10 min drive down the hill (watch out for grazing sheep!). Highly recommend for an idyllic, peaceful stay.
