Typical Italian breakfast. You will get a cappuccino/cafe and a brioche with chocolate or marmalade. Very good value for money, so don't expect a 5 Star all-inclusive experience. However, totally sufficient if you are looking for a place to stay overnight and continue your travel tomorrow or visit for Ottobiano MX (as was the case for us).
Food in the restaurant is in line with the rest of the hotel. The restaurant is visited by locals, which I think is a good sign.
We did not speak Italian, but some of the personal were fluent in English.
Outside Pontecurone, this 19th-century noble residence is made up of 2 separate houses and a small church. On site you will find a swimming pool and a large peaceful garden.

Quiet, old-style room. Comfortable bed and pillow. Bathroom clean. Good breakfast. First rate restaurant offering excellent Italian cooking at reasonable prices within the hotel. Would stay at hotel just for dinner. Easy walk to railway station.

Lovely old building in the centre of Tortona, lots of character, although a little difficult to find, but worth it when we did!

An amazingly curated collection of art deco furniture and objects in a great building. Gorgeously comfortable beds and all comforts provided for. We had the top floor expansive bedroom and enjoyed the feel of being in the forest on a misty feb morning. Paintings and interest everywhere. The granddaughter owner is lovely and gracious.

Looks like new. Clean it’s a whole property with kitchen etc.
The hotel is an adult themed brothel type hotel. The room was dirty with used sanitary products in the bin and condoms, the shower had a stripper pole inside it and dirty soap suds in, there was naked pictures in women on the wall, there was a bar above the bed for bondage type activities, the hotel was secluded, outside pitch black and an adjoining door which we did not have a key for. The receptionist does not speak any English and a translator is needed. Hotel laters accepts its a brothel but doesn’t offer a refund to customers that did not know this and booked through a third party website
