The accommodation was excellent.
The accommodation was excellent. The immediate area was rural with the nearest large town being Aprilia. The people are very friendly and helpful, but the way of life sometimes differs from the British and the town and it's surroundings suffer from bad littering. Additionally, the roads are in very bad condition. I have a special interest in the region because it featured heavily in WW2. I recommend that the traveller gets off the beaten track because there are some superb and authentic eating places away from Rome - at least two first class ristorantI in Lanuvio alone at reasonable prices.
