Beautiful Seaside town, Extremeley friendly and helpful people. Even when language was a barrier they would find some one or we would use translate. Even bus drivers and train conductors were so helpful.

It´s a small town, within walking distance, and everything you need is around the corner.
We found the best hotel and also a bar/restaurant where we had drinks and dinner down on the beach directly on the sand.

Anzio is a quiet beach place with nice restaurants, a port , nice little shops and the historical ruins of Nero's palace at the sea. 50km from Rome it is the right place to stay if you would like to combine Rime visits and in between some beach breaks.

Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town.
Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town. Decent beaches, both free and paid.
A good starting point for hydrofoil travel to Ponza Island. From here there are hydrofoils that will take you there in an hour and a half. Other places only use regular cruise ships, but they offer a four-hour journey.
There are many good restaurants with local fresh fish and seafood as well as local wines.
A place worth staying for shorter and longer periods.

Pleasant surprise!
Pleasant surprise! We learnt that the beaches around Anzio are popular among people from the Rome region, so there are mostly local people. Long, very nice beach with clean water, shallow sea and fine sand.

if you want to stay near Rome and have the benefit of a cooler summer atmosphere and a beach holiday this it , far better than staying Ostia or Fiumicino. frequent trains air conditioned and an hours journey rome for targeted visiting.
Nino is an excellent host. Location is very good: 3 blocks from train station (1 hour train from Rome Termini). Right infront the beach. 15 minutes walk to a Anzio center.
Swimming pool in the last floor with Seaview were you can enjoy beautiful sunsets in the sea. Breakfast also served there.
Room and bedroom very comfortable, airconditioners worked perfect. Shower works perfect.
Quiet neighborhood.Ideal if you want to take some rest from the people and noise during your stay at Rome!
We enjoyed staying at this wonderful apartment. It is spacious and bright. The train station is very close so it is easy to go to Rome which is quite close. I want to admit that there is no loud noise from the trains. The view is marvelous, the air is fresh. There are shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants not far from the house. The beach is also 10 minutes from the apartment. The Host is very nice and friendly and always ready to help.
Our stay at Villa Adriana was an exceptional experience during our holiday in Italy. The host was extremely welcoming, and the hospitality went above and beyond.
The host accommodated our every need, including italian cooking sessions and drivers
to all local amenities.
By the end of our stay at Villa Adriana, we left not only enjoying a great stay but also being able to call Luciano a friend.
It was absolutely amazing place to stay! I think we liked everything:
- room is clean and comfortable, with air conditioning
- breakfast was amazing: tasty and big choice of food options
- terrace is great: with view and direct beach access
- sea is also very clean and beach is not overcrowded
Our point is 11 out of 10, definitely worth every euro we paid 😀. We will try to come back
The villa is situated close the sea. So nice from the owner that she offers a free ride to the villa from the train station. Also I was very glad as she offered me a bicycle to ride around as Anzio center is quite far (5km) and local buses go without schedule and not so often. The beach is very long and clean!
Near the beach, balcony, spacious, bright. Bedroom very modern. Lots of equipment, such as TV, washing machine, fridge and cooking hob. Veruska is very nice and drove us to and from the station. Small supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Beach is very long, you can hire 2 loungers and sunshade for €15/day.
The equipment of the apartment is excellent, there is absolutely nothing missing. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Location close to the centre. There are grocery and fruit shops nearby. The beach is also nearby.
This was by far the best place to stay in Italy. The hosts were incredibly nice to us and made sure we would feel comfortable and feel like if we were at home.
We are very thankful to have met such nice people.
-- A good location near the train station. You can walk by foot. Very convenient for a back trip to Rome.
-- Cosy dining room and homemade breakfast.
