This is a lovely place to stay! It is reached by a challenging yet rewarding walk up an historic alley. The rooms are beautifully appointed & clean. The host was very helpful & pleasant. Snacks are provided- park your car & stay here!

The old town (istorico) was beautiful, and the reviews of the best “gelata” (iced cream) are well founded. The sea is fabulous but make sure you wear flip flops to beach as they are generally small stones. Also you need to be a good swimmer as currents are strong. The only public transport seemed to be the excellent main line train service. Generally the people are very helpful and friendly, particularly if you try to speak Italian.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. During our stay, the weather was not conducive to swimming or sunning, but the pool and rooftop looked very inviting. Very, very, clean with a well-stocked kitchen and thoughtful extras like big bottles of water and some snacks waiting for us. The owner was FAST with responses, even at 10pm when we struggled with the front gate (jiggling the battery in the remote did the trick.)
