The spa bath was an unexpected bonus that added to the charm of our stay. The reception & dining area of the Castella di Altomonte is exquisite. These beautifully restored rooms exude style & quality. This was matched perfectly by the food. We really enjoyed talking to our host & this added to our thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Maria was amazing, so helpful, friendly & accommodating! She made amazing cakes for us to have at breakfast & we also had enough food to make panini for lunch ! Taking into account the price and view we had, I would say it is a 5 start :) Also nice city, which was quiet but interesting to see and have a dinner. The beds were comfortable compared to some others in Italy. We enjoyed staying in a historic castle of this area. We could not ask for a better host to make our stay memorable .
