We enjoyed the breakfast buffet so much . Also the peace in the hotel as well as the hot tub and sauna under the stars. The highlight of the stay was seeing the auroras from our bedroom window in the cottage.

The isolated location was great. This also is a con though when trying to find the place. Just make sure you don't wait until nightfall to find it, and you'll be good.

The location was great for visiting Landmannalauger and the ring road. Rooms were clean and warm and the kitchen was well stocked with tools needed to make dinner and breakfast.

What a lovely place, lovely family owned business. About 1.5 hrs from landmannalaugar and an excellent option. Very nice breakfast and the dinner restaurant is superb. The owners are lovely, and we'll stay there again!
