The staff were lovely - they even gave us a free glass of fizz as we got engaged during our trip. We also really enjoyed their Northern Lights warning system where they will come and knock on your door to make sure you don't miss your chance to see them - which we didn't! Although it would have been hard to miss from the beautiful big window in hte room. The location is brilliant for exploring and the food was also very good.

The cottage was nice and clean but facilities were at the poor side: no chairs outside, no wine glasses (detail) and only one little pan. This far not big enough for 4 people.
But the worst was the accessibility !!!
We were supposed to call the property on our arrival to get the mood our cottage and the access code. I called during more than 30 minutes without getting answer. I send a WhatsApp / message and I tried to contact the property via Booking.com. I NEVER got an answer on none of the communication channels. We were there in the cold and darkness with my mum aged 82 completely without any resource to get in touch with the property.
Fortunately and by chance, After around 30/40 minutes, the driver of a little bus that came to bring tourists could open the door for us.

I would have liked to have more time to get up in the mountains and hike, visit the glacier, and explore Vestmannaeyjar islands. The property was very convenient to explore many attractions, like Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss, and also not too far for a day trip to Vik.
Everything.
It was in a lovely location, away from the main road and very quiet. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. We only stayed one night, the first in Iceland, and it was a fantastic start to our holiday.
All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Breakfast was the best we had all our holiday, freshly made and amazing.
Can’t recommend this hotel enough, it was a great find….a little gem!
We stayed in the apartment section - it was lovely with large bedroom, sitting room and high end bathroom with walk in shower. The staff was attentive and friendly. Dinner in their restaurant was very nice altho the vegetarian option was not great that night, the seafood was wonderful. The breakfast room was spacious and very clean, the choice of food was a bit limited, altho we were on the later end of the breakfast timeframe - get there early!
I liked my location of my room on the first floor. The breakfast was filling and the dining room has a gorgeous view of the countryside. The breakfast was very nice and overall filling - I drove to Jokulsarlon/Glacier Lagoon in one go and didn't get hungry til lunch time. Other guests during my stay were courteous.
We have been tranfered to Skogafoss Hotel because of an overbooking due to a system fall. Our stay was beyond expectations. the hotel feel quite sorry for it and we appreciate very much their kind gesture. The room was great, so was the lamb soup at the restaurant and the breakfast.
This stay was perfect after a long day hiking. Our room was incredibly comfy and spacious and warm! The shared bathroom also was not cramped so my partner and I were able to both get in and out quickly. Breakfast was just enough to get us going on our way 😊
A wonderful hotel in a picturesque corner of Iceland. We stayed in an apartment - spacious, clean, comfortable. Great bed. Everything you need. Wonderful breakfasts . Friendly helpful staff. Great dinners at the hotel restaurant!
We needed an early start for our glacier hike and the host set a table of 6 with an amazing beautiful spread of breakfast early for us! So kind!
Large rooms, super clean, comfortable everything, would highly recommend.
Quaint hotel, we were the only guests due to a storm and the lady in reception was so helpful and friendly. The food was lovely, the chef had made some extra treats which were divine! Breakfast was lovely!
We stayed at Hotel Anna during a storm and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. our hotel room was comfy and very spacious. Very clean. Breakfast was delicious, dinner was good.
Nice hotel tucked away in a small valley. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant. Had a hot tub on the premises but it was raining so we didn't try it out. Good breakfast.
Very cozy hideaway in a stunning landscape.
Great restaurant and excellent service.
Friendly horses and dog!
Hikes starting right behind the hotel.
Hot hot tub !
