The favourite place I've visited in Vagamon is the Mottakunnu which is situated near Vagamon meadows. I stayed in Vagamon Clouds, an Apartment stay which was situated near Vagamon town. I ate from both vacation towns and restaurants on the way to vagamon. The climate is a little bit cold. It's better to keep a jacket with you. Better, order food from your stay itself if they provide you. Restaurants are very costly and the food is pathetic.

Nice nature location. Off-roading often required. Would rate it somewhat below Munnar as a vacation outing. Good accommodation and restaurants are hard to come by. A somewhat small hill-town, with limited outing areas as compared to Munnar. Just my personal opinion. The location and setup is exceptional. The entire property is a cardamom plantation. And you get to stay high up in the mountains and get a great view.
