After the first night there, I booked into another hotel. I couldn't wait to get out of that depressing atmosphere. I had to stay in my room for a long time each day to work, but it was too depressing to be in such a dilapidated room. It was filthy & mattress worn out. Tiles were cracked. Do not waste your $ on such a filthy place. REceptionist doesn't understand English. I had to write it on a piece of paper for her to read. It is not a hotel set up for tourist. After the first night there, I went to the counter & barked at the receptionist, "Checking out. Not happy here." She asked me to see the manager, but I couldn't be bothered. It was fairly a clean area. The wall arts were a feast to travellers . Malls in this area were also well facilitated. This is a village, NOT APART OF MUMBAI. The people here were very pleasant but not prepared for visitors. There are not many options for shopping and eating. Thane is the centre of Mumbai with equidistance from Mumbai Airport, Panvel, Borivli. Thane is green and lively. It is very safe and upcoming smart city, you have all kinds of food & restaurants, hospitals, schools, colleges. A great place to settle with family with nature but not far from the Metro.

The propert was under renovation. Although the room was O.K but basic things were absemt like tea maker. Breakfast was very expensive charging Rs.250/- per day which I did not availed. Not professional people. It took long chasing and time for me to get invoice copy after checking out from hotel.
