i liked the facility as a whole.
the private beach was in low tide so the water was quite distant. But still beautiful
the road to the property was narrow. so cars could not pass to and from simultaneously. but still i did not feel it was a hassle.
any beautiful place is secluded and requires effort.
personal note to keep the island beautiful and clean: i encourage the travelers and the tourist to bring their own water bottles and fill them up from the dispenser instead of buying packaged drinking water#carry your own bags instead of plastic bags#you can return to the hotel and throw all your used wrappers.#carry your own bamboo/metal straw instead of using paper straws#let us all be sensible travelers

Most foreigners were there, We booked 2 rooms and both rooms were very small, The location was not good. It was more than 3km from the jetty and the rooms were not up to my expectations.. A lot of bugs 🪲 and centipedes used to get on my bed and bathroom..No AC was there.

Good location, swimmable beach despite reviews, and stunning though needs some care as there is rubbish that accumulates. Safe deposit did not work which is a problem in a cash only economy. Was told it couldn’t be fixed. Food service was erratic and slow, but tasted good. Classical Muzak starting at 7am every morning so you can’t hear the waves, not our thing. Sweet staff.

We wanted to love this place. But appearance was skin deep. The staff never seemed happy to be there, and the front desk guy fell asleep literally at the front desk. Mosquitoes are everywhere in the lobby area. The internet is nearly non existent, do not expect more than receiving emails. The restaurant feels disorganized, and they carry one wine, Jacob’s Creek. Breakfast is a joke, with a feeling of complete disorganization. We ended up leaving after one night—our experience was that bad.

The best thing about the island is it is quiet, and you can have a very relaxed holiday. Loved the Laxmanpur beach for the coral bridge, and glorious sunset views. Bharatpur is awesome for some adventure activities. Go for leisurely walks, and some great sea food.

It's a small island.
It's a small island. A cycle is adequate to cover the entire island! It's beaches are amazing and boast a rich marine life. Peaceful island best place to spend quality time with your friends or family or yourself.
My favourite place was laxmanpur beach. I had food at elephant resort and halder pure veg, and senthil's restaurant. Get to places early because it gets dark soon. After 6 it's actually dark. So best time to leave your hotel is 3-3.30 pm.

Neil Island is an excellent place to enjoy sea beaches in India. Bharatpur Beach is almost at par with the Radhanagar Beach of Havelock Island.
But the Laxmanpur II beach should be avoided because of the difficulty in negotiating the slippery rocks on the beach throughout.

Please spend 2 days in Neil Island.
Please spend 2 days in Neil Island. There is nothing much to do for travelers who like to cover more numbers of places, but if you like to laze around and watch the sunset, observe marine life, play with kids on beach, you may want to spend more time in Neil. As compared to Havelock, Neil is slightly hotter.

This is a mesmerising island with the cleanest of waters.
This is a mesmerising island with the cleanest of waters. You can look at the marine life right at your feet. For a 8 sq km wide island, this is serene and pristine. Ramanagar beach is also good for sunsets. If you are looking for a relaxing time, this is the place to be.
