The owner was extremely helpful. Gave good information about travel to Ajanta and Ellora caves.
I left my luggage in their care whilst I visited the caves and was offered a chance to shower before my late train.
The room was a comfortable, large, and clean double with fan.

We visited Aurangabad only to see Kailash temple and Gruhaneswar Jyothirlinga mandir. Kailadh temple is do marvalash and it is different to explain in words. Carving the temple and idols from a mountain is extraordinary talent.
Gruhneswara Jyothirlinga mandir is an auspicious place

Aurangabad is a must visit for both Indian and international travellers. Ajanta and Ellora caves are absolutely breath taking and for an avid history and architecture enthusiast, they make for a perfect getaway. Stay wary of the shopping complex at Ajanta caves as they may try to sell you low par products. Grishneshwar temple and bibi ka maqbara should also be visited. Bibi ka maqbara in the evening when it’s dark and lights come on is a beautiful sight to witness. Taxi is a little expensive and trip to Ajanta caves may cost around INR 3000. Staying in aurangabad for 2-3 days to cover all important sites is recommended. Biryani from the great sagar restaurant is very delicious.

The trip to Ajantha took longer than expected due to road works. There is only a decent restaurant at the cave itself, otherwise not very good ones on the way and will take a day to visit and return.
Daulatabad was a great old fort. Need more maintenance. Bibi ka Maqbara is a replica of Taj Mahal and could be skiped if the Taj is seen,
Choise of local food is wide and great food too. We enjoyed the vada pav and sabudhana vada.
Auto and taxis are plenty and being a tourist destination, the usual high handedness is there. They will demand and can negotiate.
The roads to Ellora is good and require atleast 3 hours at the caves.

Ajanta and Ellora caves were extraordinary.
Ajanta and Ellora caves were extraordinary. Special mention must be made of the last cave (number 26 or 27) which was incomplete to get an idea of how the work was done meticulously at Ajanta. Similar is the case with Kailas temple at Ellora which is constructed from top to bottom and from inside out. Truly a mesmerizing experience. And do eat mutton dishes in and around Aurangabad. Meat is so tender.

The most plus point is - situated at Ellora and Ajanta.
The most plus point is - situated at Ellora and Ajanta.
Had a childhood wish to visit them, so I could do it now. The facilities at Ellora and Ajanta from ASI is very good. Both the sites are kept neat and clean. At Ellora - accessibility to disabled is provided. At Ajanta doli and helper facilities are provided.
There is also this Mini Taj Mahal, a must visit place.
Hotels and eateries are available in plenty.
Not much of drawbacks.
The hotel Green Olive is at a good location closer to the airport and we received a complimentary ride from the airport. It is very clean with friendly and smiling staff. The restaurant is also cleaned and foods were very tasty. The hotel recommended taxi service is excellent specially our driver associate, Mr. Anwar took an extra effort to book our taxi from Bombay to Pune this morning. No one could expect a better service with amount of money paid. I wIll use the hotel facility if I plan to revisit Aurangabad.
* The hotel was neat and clean, the room was spacious and comfortable.
* The location is closer to many local market areas, like canaught place, silk emporiums and such.
* The breakfast spread was exceptional with changing menu items (most).
* Special thanks to Ms Premula for taking care of our services in the cafeteria. Exceptional employee and true asset. She has recommended The Fern Gangtok and we are considering it for our future trip.
Exceptionally good hotel, bang in the middle of the City. Very comfortable rooms and the balcony is just awesome. The breakfast spead is very nice, actually over the top. Royal treatment all the time, we got a grand send off too. Chef Sainath, Santhosh and Bhagwat and the morning breakfast made us feel super special. Top notch gentlemen with a meticulous eye for detail and service. Thank you.
This is one of my favourite hotels. The location is great. The rooms are quite large and well appointed. The facilities are very good. The breakfast is also very good and world’s best if you like South Indian breakfasts.
Best of all is the amazing service. Every single staff member I encountered was exceptional.
I have stayed here now quite a few times and will do so again.
Awesome price ever in aurangabad. hotel is budget category but need and clean service good thing is sleep mattress and room view is very good. hotel located at city main market its very help full take local sharing auto riksho every whare. Hotel ground floor restaurant is pure vegetarian menu is little bit expensive but best test and properly cleaning.
The staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We want to particularly thank Mohan and his team of wait staff in the dining room. They were so welcoming and lovely. The best we’ve had in India. The restaurant wait team at the lovely Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai could learn a lot from your wait team at the Fern Aurangabad.
One of the few hotels in Aurangabad (i.e., near Ellora and Ajanta caves) which is (kind of, s. dislikes) up to international standard. As a western visitor, you have to go with a hotel in Aurangabad which is secluded from the city. This hotel fits this bill.
Plus we liked the swing on the balcony.
The best stay in India!!!
So wonderful.
Owner was very nice and even when I fell ill, he went to buy me some medicine, was always bringing me fresh water, helped me to book a taxi.
I had so warm welcome in that place, I liked very much!
Thank you! Recommend you to stay there.
Excellent staff, very supportive, I landed at the hotel after a long travel and had to plan and make myself ready for a long day event. The staff made me comfortable and also ensured that I was settled well for the meeting. Really appreciate the gesture...........
Good experience! We visited this property on our anniversary, the hotel was very helpful in assisting me for making special arrangements. Special thanks to staff from guest relations for all the efforts! Overall great experience!!
