Dimona is lovely city now --- a real turn-around in the last 10 years: A lake, a big villa project, and an upbeat feeling: Visit Mamshit, and Camel Ranch, Orly Sabras Plantation, and the Big and small Craters, and Ein Orke'am. Rokfor restaurant is lovely, and Drachim Hotel is exceptional!

Dimona is a hidden gem.
Dimona is a hidden gem. As we have family there, we visit every time we are in Israel. However, it would be a lovely Israeli town for people to experience. There is only one traffic light into the town. There are delightful roundabouts with themes on them - exploring the history of Israel such as Herzl standing on a balcony as you enter Dimona, a sport theme, King David's harp. There is also a pleasant man made lake in a park with plenty of equipment for younger children to get their wiggles out. The town has a diverse community which consists of immigrant populations like Moroccans, Russians, Ethiopians, and the African Hebrew Israelites originally from Chicago. If you really want a taste of Israel, visit Dimona.

We had a hut with the desert view in the shade of the big tree and hammock. There is an air-con in the hut , we switched the heating on as it was quite cold outside. Breakfast was great and the guys managing the farm were very friendly, they even provided the tips what to do in Israel. And the camel ride was awesome.

There's tea, a kettle, a microwave, a fridge, TV and a sink in the room which all again were very clean and working well. Close to the inn there's some shops so you'll get everything for your daily needs and more. Perfect for a trip to Dimona for work, as you can relax and sleep in a comfortable bed or on the cozy couch after work.

No breakfast in this hotel but the rooms had all you need (gas, refrigerator, microwave oven, cutlery etc.) so we had a nice breakfast and could prepare food for the Trek we planned for the rest of the day.amirosIsrael
