It was spotlessly clean, with a huge garden.
We had every thing we needed to cook, relax and feel like we were in a home from home and the views were breathtaking.
Even the 3 dogs loved it.

Everything was amazing, absolutely beautiful tranquil place, had a lovely night away, everything was perfect!. Will definitely be returning for more than one night the next time.
The hosts were very accommodating and left clear instructions for everything. They also have an animal sanctuary that the proceeds of the business go too. And that really touched my heart as an animal lover!. I'd love to possibly visit on my next stay at this wonderful place 😊

I am very disappointed, I read the reviews and not impressed with the reality of the hotel.
Nice little ferry port with good tourist amenities.
Nice little ferry port with good tourist amenities. All facilities within a compact walkable area, good for me as I have some mobility issues.
Nice array of pubs and restaurants and take way food. Local Golf Course.
The surrounding area abounds with spotless golden beaches.
The car ferry runs about every 15 minutes to Magilligan on the Co Antrim Coast ( a tenner for car and driver),and the Historic city of Londonderry is around 30 minutes by car.
Belfast is an easy drive from either place via the motorway networks.

Greencastle is a very scenic and beautiful little harbour...
Greencastle is a very scenic and beautiful little harbour town. It is ideally situated as a base to explore the stunning surrounding area. Unfortunately our stay(22-25 July21) was during the Covid Pandemic so not a lot was open in the area. But I can highly recommend The Ferryport Bar which had a very convenient Marquee set up for outdoor socialising. The staff were wonderful. Also I can recommend The Jetty takeaway chippie. Fab fish & chips at a very reasonable price. Greencastle is also the port for the car ferry to Magilligan, which is a great service. There is also a very good local taxi service. Even with the Covid restrictions in place we had a very pleasant experience.

Cosy and ideally located little cottage near the coastal path and shore. Cottage had everything we needed for family with 5 children from 2-15
The cottage is next door to a pub/restaurant called the Castle Inn with a fabulous view but it was only open for lunch and dinner at the weekend in May.
Greencastle and Inishowen has lots to explore, many white sandy beaches and great food.
Rosatos in Moville was a great wee traditional pub and restaurant. The kids had homemade pizzas and adults Sea bass and trout with orzo in Italian sauce and it was all delicious.
The famine village in Doagh is a must see and your entry fee includes a coffee and scone in the cafe or a drink and packet of crisps for the kids the amazing beach nearby meant we spent the whole day there.
We had a great and hassle free stay and Greencastle was a quiet and beautiful place to visit.
What a fantastic place to stay! Our host was very kind and friendly, easy to communicate. The breakfast was awesome, not only delicious, but with a view. This is possible the best B&B in Donegal. The house was very welcoming, had a great view, the room also had a view to the bay, was super comfortable and clean. Bottled water, coffee, tea, biscuits were in our room as well. They had a nice spacious common living room area upstairs, again with a view. All in all everything was top notch. Thank you
Was in donegal for a wedding and stayed in this b&b in Greencastle. The hosts R ichard and Patricia were very helpful in assisting us with travelling arrangements to and from the wedding. The view is a fabulous scene of the Alantic sea and mountains. Our hosts were very friendly and provided us with a lovely breakfast. I would recommend this is the place to stay if you are looking for a beautiful quiet place to stay and excellent hosts. Thank you, Una and Phyllis.
Templeview Lodge is a beautiful guesthouse with fabulous views overlooking the Foyle. Our family deluxe room was very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast menu was superb.
Sheila and Michael made us feel very welcome. we will definitely be back to Templeview Lodge Greencastle for another stay.
Thank you!
Location is perfect - close to blue flag beach at Shroove, and short drive to Kinnagoe Bay. Excellent base for exploring Inishowen Peninsula. Great food in Greencastle, and more options close by in Moville. Lovely views out front of the house, we watched a pod of dolphins in the Bay on our last day.
Lovely room, and the staff of the Castle Inn could not have been more helpful or more pleasant. The food in the restaurant is really special. (And there are several excellent breakfast options between Greencastle and Moville
We were spoiled for choice) A wonderful experience.
The cabin was overlooking the sea it was in a relaxing peaceful area..The near by beaches were outstanding beauty and the weather had finally changed and could go out all day..The local area had everything u needed supermarket takeaway post office and a hotel..
It should be marketed as a 5 star boutique hotel! We could not find any fault with anything! The food is spectacular. The owners are wonderful. Rooms are huge. Tremendous value. We will definitely be back. Great place. Highly recommend it.
Beautiful spacious property in a excellent and stunning location. Couldn't have asked for better. Used as a base for family attending a wedding at The Redcastle Hotel nearby. Great hosts too - nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was outstanding and plentiful. Liam and Isabel are awesome hosts and are a wealth of knowledge for the area. I would highly recommend their B&B to anyone visiting the north of Donegal. 5 stars for sure!
Beautiful house that has all the modern amenities. The bar and trampoline made it extra special. Walking distance to the small village of greencastle. Looking forward to my next trip with the family
