Quiet comfortable location. Definitely need a car to travel from this location to other areas of interest in and around Galway.

Excellent quality, very clean, well appointed, high quality furniture & fittings, nice kitchen with all the essentials. Heating on a timer so nice and warm. Only bathroom is the en-suite if that’s an issue and also spiral staircase might not suit anyone with a mobility issue. Also it’s a self contained space in part of a larger house so garden is probably shared if that’s a concern. Owner provided help over the phone to locate the property and had a fold up bed for my daughter which suited us fine.
Basically only slept there as at a GalwayFC v WexfordFC game in Eamonn Deacy Park on first night and in Galway all the following day. Handy for the city, maybe 15mins, but I suggest you must have a car to stay here. Plenty of off road parking as it’s in a rural area. Big TV but I could only get Netflix to work but that was probably just me! CD player with a small selection of cds which was good for our Taylor Swift fan. Good strong WiFi.
Good value compared to city centre, would certainly stay again as daughter is in Uni in Galway and it’s such a lovely place to visit. (She didn’t want to leave the property and return to her grotty student accommodation!) Would be be happy to recommend to anybody.
Oranhill Lodge Guesthouse is a family-run bed & breakfast. This beautiful redbrick house is set in a well-manicured garden, just 5 minutes' walk to the village of Oranmore.

A small quaint little village with some lovely restaurants and shops.Nice garden centre. Not a lot to do there but convenient to Galway City and the Wild Atlantic way with numerous attractions.Having done all the sightseeing many time in the past my trip was one of peace tranquility and fine dining. All delivered 100%.
One of the best places we stayed in Ireland. The breakfast was excellent and Maura catered for our complicated dietary requirements. Maura and Michael are simply the best people, we felt welcome and like we were in our own home. The rooms were lovely and cosy, with excellent beds, and the grounds had a beautiful country garden feel. It’s also a short walk to the beach, which was beautiful to visit after a long day in the nearby Galway.
Perfectly great value. Hosts are very friendly. Room and beds were comfortable. A number of different breakfast options were available if you (like us) get tired of the heavy "full Irish" after nearly two weeks of traveling. Close to Galway.
Wonderful location on a beautiful road, with Galway Bay at the end of the road, and a lovely sunset. Michael and Maura, the innkeepers, really added to our joy of being in Galway. They were so kind and such a delight.
