Very quiet location directly at the beach. The sand is black and not completely clean but it was very calm water and if you go deeper there are some corals and fish (the hotel gives snorkeling equipment but you may not find the right size - water shoes are required!). There is a swimming pool, nice and clean. Very large rooms, with nice furniture, it looks like most of them have a sea view.
Restaurant on site and at least one decent warung in a walking distance. For more you need to get a scooter or a car (the hotel can arrange the taxi).
There is enough variety for breakfast and some western and local dishes for lunch/dinner. The quality is good although the service is a bit slow.
In general everything looks well but here and there there are signs of damage by time and water. It didn't bother us.
It is a good place if you want to relax by not doing anything special. The most noice you can hear at night is from geckoes.

We were very much looked after by Yuli, Adi and the team at North Cape Beach Villas. Yuli was a fantastic host! She made us feel welcomed, fed us delicious home cooked meals and kept the place spotless. Adi took us all over to see the sites of Bali - we felt safe and in good hands with him. We enjoyed being secluded and away from all the typical tourist spots, but it does mean trips to see the sites require transport and preplanning - which we found easy to organise and coordinate with Adi. The drive to and from the villa is through rice fields - beautiful views. The pool and garden were well maintained by the gardener every day.
The rooms and all facilities at the villa exceeded our expectations, including the private pool which was used by the kids at least 3 times each day! The bedrooms were spacious and air conditioned and free wifi kept us connected when we were enjoying the outdoor spaces.
Extras were priced well and easily organised with the team at the villa - including massages at the villa, a special meal of babi guling and airport transfers. Organising groceries with Yuli was easy to do.
Recommended if you are looking for a secluded place to stay with family or a group of people.

This is the best villa we have stayed in. The location was tranquil but close to the beach and a couple of restaurants. There is a cook to make meals and they will help you get items from the shop. The villa is exceptionally clean and well maintained, absolutely stunning. Very comfortable stay.

The setting was great with the river flowing at the bottom of the property and green outlooks.
