Sunsets at Sumbul, hotel in Negara

The host Rafi is an exceptionally gorgeous soul. She was so accommodating, her bread is to live for 🤤 and her home is beautiful. My daughter had a blast playing in the pool with her youngest too! Rafi even helped take my daughter to the local doctor when she got Bali belly! The area is quiet and secluded, perfect for relaxing. There is a couple of amazing places to eat nearby as well which are a short scenic walk away or a super quick easy scooter ride on a very quiet street.

Negara and surrounding area is a good place to visit when you dont care about white sand beaches and busy tourist places. There are a lot of interesting places to visit in the area - keep in mind that the area is pretty stretched out so you need to travel some distance and always need a car -. Places of interest : Rambut Siwi temple, Perancak turtle conservation, Perancak Delta, Makepung races, Belimbingsari, Palisari, Negara city park and temple. Many good places to eat.

    Negara is a local town.

Negara is a local town. Here are no tourists or souvenir shops. It has a nice park and market. Right out of Negara there are beautiful rice paddies with the ducks. We where located in Perancak, witch is about a 15 minute drive from Negara towards the beach. From here you can see the buffalo races, look at the fantastic Bali fishing boats or just enjoy the unspoiled local scenery.

Friendly staff and very accommodating, they involve you in local activities. Relaxing setting and peaceful, local community are very friendly. It is a little way out of the town but worth the drive if you don’t mind a bumpy road. We hired a scooter and had some wonderful adventures. Your accomodation looks out over the rice paddies.
