We just stayed one night after coming from the Togian Islands but the owner Harry and Mimin are such lovely and welcoming people! As we didn't have a plan what to do that day we stayed with them and talked a lot, played games and went with Harry and Mimin to a Karaoke place at night. Such lovely and heartwarming people. Room was easy and with a shared bath but totally fine for one night. We left very early the next day (4:30 am) and still got some breakfast to go.

The people were always very friendly and anxious to help. There are many tourists things to do, but it is not popular tourist destination. It depends a lot on what you want and what you expect. My stay was limited I was not do my favorite thing (wandering around the the city and visiting coffee shops and restaurants and meeting and interacting with the local people) because I caught a cold.

To snorkel with the whale sharks was absolutely fantastic.
To snorkel with the whale sharks was absolutely fantastic. I was told that this is the only spot in the World where you can access them just 50m from the beach (well actually a small fishing village). There is no guarantee that the whale sharks are there. We tried two days, and had luck on one day, and there was 5 whale sharks then. The other day no one showed up. The best month is May, however June and July seemed to be good also.Kari FältSweden

It fehlt so good to be with them. their humanity and way of Taking care of guests is exceptional. Harry woke us up for whaleshark observation, helped us with trabsportation to and from Gorontalo and we were taken to some local festivities. Everything looks neat and clean, staffs are extremely helpful and kind (they even took me to a place with the hotel car for free when I cant find any ride), the location is near the center of the city and old town, it’s easy to find food, their tv is well connected to youtube channel and you can watch netflix if you want to sign in with your acc. I stayed there for 4 nights and they change the bfast menu every day.

Very helpful with organizing transportation and everything else. Harry even picked us up from the ferry port in Gorontalo. We also booked the Whaleshark tour and the cooking class with them and can highly recommend both. They really make you feel like family. Would definitely stay there again!
