Gorgeous little town with art galleries and fabulous boutique restaurants. Has its own ruined castle on top of the hill. Swimming beach 5 minutes walk down the road. An pricey entrance fee to the very popular and busy National Park. Entry to the national park through Skradin also includes a scenic 20 minute boat trip to the entrance rather than by coach. We went early and booked tickets to visit Roski Slap. We seemed to have missed the massive crowds when we returned to the main area.

Skradin is lovely old town with narrow streets, most of them only for walk. There is the port, remains of fortress, several churches and a lot of pubs. The boats go from there to amazing national park Krka.

The private bathroom wasn't ensuite, but just two steps across a small hallway. There are chairs and a table on the veranda, to sit outside. The location is excellent, just 100 meters or so to the central street in Skradin and the nearest supermarket, and a 7 minute walk to the boattours to Krka National Park and Skradinski Buk waterfalls.
