Nothing was good. Shouldn't be rented to humans. Can not describe the smell of the dump and the petrol as entering the house but for sure i have photos to post if needed to show how everything was inside plus the water leaking from the ceiling on the bedroom wall.

Wonderful town away from the touristy Greece.
Wonderful town away from the touristy Greece. Short drive from the beach, base of a mountain, great for explorers who want the real greece. Lots of coffee shops and eateries. The locals are some of the most passionate and friendly people you can meet. If you head up the mountain the views over the town are amazing!

There is a beautiful nature walk next to the river enriched by the work of local artists. The path leads to a beautiful tiny chapel, alternatively, down to the river. Visitors must be aware of the very confusing one-way streets. Taxis are cheap and efficient.

Although I was travelling with my car, I preferred to walk to the center of Xanthi. The room was very clean (thank you Mrs Charoula!), very bright, cozy and quite, in general, except for the last night when guests from a wedding stayed at the hotel making noise until early in the morning. Overall, an excellent experience. This was not my first time at the hotel, and surely will not be the last!
