Vromolithos is very beautiful and the sea is clean.

Vromolithos is very beautiful and the sea is clean. The people are very helpful and will go out if their way to help in anyway that they can. The easiest way to get around is by car or scooter as it is very hilly and in the heat of the summer walking is difficult.

Favourite places: The windmill cafe near the Castle, especially during the evening, stunning views. Good selection of restaurants,, freshly cooked food reasonably priced. Good selection of beverages, wine and spirits more expensive than the UK. It is easy to get around the area, some hills to tackle coming in to the area but not too taxing. We hired a scooter and explored the island. Leros has interesting history. Recommend the War museum, Kastro castle which you can see from the area. The ice cream in Lakki port was nostalgic ! Tourism night life is not developed like other Greek Islands which is one of the reasons we love the island. A relaxing slow paced romantic holiday.
