Clean with a wonderful view and very warm, considering it was the end of fall.
Petros, the owner, was extremely helpful, polite, friendly, and very accommodating. He provided us with very useful information regarding the area, places to see and eat and go. Also, put up Christmas lights as a special gesture for our arrival.

Could have settled in here for much longer. The 5 room house is the perfect refuge with incredible views from cobblestone streets and newly renovated furnishings. Kateryna and Christos both took care of our family and included a wonderful breakfast. In the afternoon we could order refreshments, ice cream, toasts, hot dogs etc. for tired kids after hiking the gorge. Distant noises from a couple farms down the slopes blend in with the birds and the breeze. Right at the trailhead of the path down to the spring or the hike to Monodendri. Nice spot to read a book with a coffee or a beer and just be away from it all.

Good place for fit hikers on cobbled paths to stone bridges, old villages and Vikos gorge - walking boots recommended.
Vitsa also has a nice square where you can relax under a large plane tree and view the upper part of the village. It's a good location for exploring the area by car too but take into account that there are very few petrol stations around.

It is a small village in the mountains, has a lively village square with restaurant. Easy access to next village with more restaurants. Driving in between the villages in the mountains was challenging but it is a very beautiful part of Greece. Vikos Gorge, the mountains and the river were simply spectacular. River rafting definitely worth doing.

Vitsa village is a great location to serve as your base, if you like to discover Zagorohoria. Next to it, is Monodendri that has a small hiking trail to Agia Paraskevi monastery (has the oldest chapel in the area) that is build on a rock overlooking Vikos gorge. You can have a few minutes drive up to Oxia lookout to have a fantastic view of the gorge. To the west, you can drive to Kipoi to visit some arched stone bridges and drive up to Vradeto. To the east you can visit Aristi and drive up the zig-zag road to Papigo. We live in coastal Thessaloniki and made our visit in January, so please consider our advise: Drive safely with your winter tyres and watch for ice or the temperature for icing conditions.
For dinner your should make a reservation, because restaurants are crowded. But the people and the food are great so you will surely enjoy it. There are no pharmacies in all of these villages, so be prepared. Also there are no supermarkets, so you might bring some refreshments and snacks with you if you want lower prices. The water in the tap is coming from mountain springs and we haven't drunk bottled water during our stay.

We ate in the hotel restaurant in the square in Vitsa.
We ate in the hotel restaurant in the square in Vitsa. The staff were very friendly & the food was always delicious. We ate there four times. Our 3 year old loved it as there is a big tree in the middle of the square to run around & a playground nearby too. Great value for money. The view is beautiful too.
The facility consists of several rooms, with common areas inside and out, including a small refrigerator for common use. We had the place to ourselves during our stay there, so we had no concerns about having enough quiet or space. There are restaurants within walking distance. We had great views, and the backdrop of livestock bells was a delightful addition. Our primary purpose was to visit not just Vitsa, but the surrounding villages, historic bridges, and scenic views of the Vikos Gorge, and this made a great base for our sightseeing.
Zagori Suites is one of the best hotels we have been to. The apartment we reserved was very big, just like in the pictures. Everything was clean, the beds were very comfortable, breakfast was fresh and rich, but most outstanding were the staff! They did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. One in our party eats gluten free and the ladies in the kitchen even made him a special Feta pie. The location of the hotel (Vitsa) is very convenient for tours of the Zagori area.
VERY nice hosts. They did their best to help. They don't speak English but used Google translate very well.
The rooms are very nice and spacious. The breakfast was wonderful.
This is a family B&B. Very cozy and the owners are available a lot of the time and ready to help.
The host even gave us some fruits and cheese pie for the day.
Vitsa is a very central location in Zagori.
We had a great stay at Katikia Zagori! It is in a great location with excellent, panoramic view. The rooms were very warm, comfortable and clean. There was a "home like'' ambiance that let you feel peaceful and calm. Tasos and Sofia took great care of us and they were willing to inform you about nearby activities. If you visit Vitsa, you shoyld definitely stay at Katikia Zagori.
Liked the attic room lot more, cuter + cozier + nicer view from the little windows. Bathroom also looked nicer in this room than in the superior room. Staff was nice enough. Breakfast was good, but we've had way better pastry products in other hotels in the area.
Even though it had it's minuses, hotel does have a great location and we would stay there again.
The location is absolutely excellent to explore Zagori. Vitsa village is a great start for several most beautiful hiking trails. On the other hand, it is very quite place. The communication with the host was excellent and he responded to all our questions and messages immediately. Would love to come to this place again.
The location was amazing, very close to all of the facilities that Vitsa has to offer. The property was very large with all rooms en suite. The WiFi was quick and the view was simply stunning.the hosts met us at the property to show us around and hand over the keys, they were very friendly and welcoming.
The suite is luxurious and comfortable. The decoration is thoughtful and practical.
The furnishing are practical. The bathroom is modern and has all the amenities.
The staff is extremely helpful.
The bigger suites have full fridge and freezer.
The location is an easy walk to Vitsa.
Very attentive owners, they were always very helpful and caring. we especially liked their hand made breakfast. very good restaurant. The hotel has a very unique atmosphere with a beautiful view! We really enjoyed our stay!!)) very recommended
Comfortable room, friendly hosts and very good breakfast with a great view from the terrace. Excellent location - a 2 minute walk to the beautiful square of Vitsa (don't be fooled by the longer main road access)
Such a lovely little hotel! Cozy, warm and traditionally decorated. Perfectly clean and well preserved. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Extremely convenient location. Would definitely return.
Very nice hotel in a picturesque village. Staff very helpful in getting me a box for breakfast as i had a very early start the next morning (doing a long trail run). The room was large and clean.
very nice and peaceful location! staff was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. short walk to the village of vitsa. nice quiet location in Zagori. Wi-Fi was excellent
The hotel is very clean & comfortable with large airey rooms, a beautiful garden, excellent breakfast. The hosts were helpful and friendly; they went out of their way to make our stay memorable.
Big room with hot water. Very good breakfast. Rural and quiet. You can park the car next to the hotel/guesthouse. We also had a balcony. 3 restaurants in town. ATM and minimarket in Monodendri
Room was big, with 2 big beds, nice and clean, the staff was friendluy. breakfast was nice and changed a bit every day.
The big tree in the front of the hotel was worth it all!
The library and the living room.
Nikos, his daughter and son where best hosts we had. If you'r looking for a non-hotel experience, it's the best place to stay.
