This was easily our favorite accommodation during our two week stay in Greece. It is a beautiful building and our room was designed very well. It is just above the village and our balcony had a wonderul view of the billage and surrounding hills. The buffet style breakfast was very good and included some special treats (pancakes and French toast). A short walk takes you into the village where there are numerous hiking trails.

The overall location is absolutely great as you can see the full mountain range. The pool area is super nice and we liked that the hotel has a limited number of rooms. Staff was absolutely spot on and made the stay even more pleasant.

Varvitsa itself has nothing to do, but it is a very short drive to Karyes and Vamvakou, both of which were nice. But in general there are not a lot of things to do during winter. Ideal for a max. 2 night stay to relax and isolate!
