    Valtessiniko is a beautiful mountain village and is perfect for people looking for a quiet getaway but with plenty of mountain trails to explore for the experienced hiker but also for people just looking for a nice scenic walk.

    A small village tucked away in a forest of fir trees.

    A small village tucked away in a forest of fir trees. Fantastic alternative to the crowded Stemnitsa & Dimitsana which you can easily visit should you wish to. A relaxing experience, enjoying clean mountain air and short drives to nearby interesting places of interest. We went horseback riding in Elatos and visited Vytina and the Water Museum in Dimitsana. We enjoyed a memorable long weekend .

    The room was smallish but cosy. Bed was a good size and comfortable. Beautiful views looking down on the village. The breakfast was first class. Everything you could want including a variety of home made pies, eggs any way you want and even a slice of a huge home made (beautiful) apple cake to take with you on the road if you want. The couple who run the hotel are extremely friendly and willing to help in every way to make your stay comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

    We spent 1 night in Valtessiniko Studios as we walk the Menalon trail. The apartment is very nice and comfortable for relaxing after a long day of walking. It has everything you need and it was clean and warm. The host was very helpful and we enjoyed also the nice breakfast. It is located on the main road within 10m walk from the center and has also great panoramic view. We enjoyed staying there and would definitely recommend it.

    Very nice building, like manor house, just about 100-200m from Valtessiniko village sign . Garden is fancy. Hotel is just 10 min walk to the original taverna. Nice and quiet place. The view to the valley in the morning was amazing. The breakfast: owner suprised us with different local pastries, thank you!

    Location of the hotel is magnificent. the building is newly renovated so everything is brand new but they have kept the original architectural design which is imposing. breakfast and dinner was excellent. staff was genuinely polite, willing to provide info for places to eat and visit in nearby villages.

    One of the most dramatic settings and locations in the middle of the woods, the hotel lives up to its historical significance and exceeds expectations. Staff is very well trained, the interiors have been beautifully designed / renovated, the restaurant and breakfast menu is excellent.

    exceptional service! they took my injured daughter to the doctor who in turn took her for X-rays in Dimitsana!!! all for free! and same taking her back and forth from hotel to the restaurant they own on the central square of Valtesiniko

    Theodora handled all my requests with efficiency and punctuallity. Breakfast is amazing. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is right next to the menalon trail, and also close to the cafe, taverna and grocery.

    Beautiful little hotel overlooking a small town on the menalon trail. The hostess was incredibly kind and went way out of her way to help us look for a place to get a covid test before our flight. The breakfast was delicious.
