Everything was wonderful. However, the problem is using public transport because you don't know the exact departure and return times of the bus. Some workers are very kind, but there are also workers who do not know English and are sometimes rude. Perhaps the reason is big number of tourists who want to visit different parts of the island.

Rhodes town exceeded my expectations.
Rhodes town exceeded my expectations. I had no idea how beautiful the town would be, the people are very friendly and it is super easy to navigate! There is plenty of choice for food, cheap and expensive.
Be aware of the local scams of beer/cocktails. ALWAYS ask to see prices and how much the pints are. There are a couple of establishments who trick you into a 'medium' or 'large' beer and they bring out 2L pints costing ££££.

The setting is lovely with the walls and many restaurants and places to visit. Great for walking around if you have proper footwear for cobbles. An easy ferry ride to Symi. Buses to visit Lindos are good for a day out. Be aware that there are cats everywhere. Also cruise ships passengers make the streets packed.

I enjoyed everything!
I enjoyed everything! Easy to get around, with beauty around each corner. Such an amazing place to go, with nightlife, shopping, history, friendly shopkeepers, family-friendly and kid-friendly places and near the newer metropolis. Easy to rent a car and go discovering other areas of the island. Would've loved to stay longer.

A lovely and historical town but we had a few too many days there. The old town is great, go off the beaten track to avoid the tourist traps and find the more interesting cafes, restaurants and shops. The modern part of the town was like anywhere in the world and the sea front is littered with gaudy monstrosities of jail like hotels. Very glad we stayed in the old town which was quirky, quiet and personal.

By far the most impressive thing about Rhodes is the castle...
By far the most impressive thing about Rhodes is the castle and the history of the area. Has to be the biggest and most grande set of fortifications any - where . I visited at the end of Feb. so no beaches. Weather is still pleasant around + 16 - +20 good temperature for hiking. I took fast ferry to Halki-one hour- walked and climbed to Castle of the Knights of St John. Took appr. 1 hr to walk - wouldn’t be fun in summer - take water. As i visited at the end of Feb. great deals on hotels, restaurants were not busy , but weather still very pleasant.
Three best things about this hotel (I can compare with my previous experiences in the same part of Rhodes):
1) Location - it’s the centre of the centre of yet on a quiet side street so completely private and cozy just 1 min away from crowds of Old town
2) Room is spacious and super clean and comfortable.
3) (last but not least) Staff - a family whose name gave the name to the hotel (Italianized version of Greek name of course ;)) is incredibly friendly and ready to make your stay comfortable.
Everything was great! Room was clean everyday. They do change the stuff without asking for it. Owner Lady was smiley and exceptionally helpful. Moreover They do a favor like gave the magnet and key chain as a present, that was great kindness as well. Breakfast also was good enough for a hotel. Hotels place was great. You stay at the heart of an old town, so rhodes. We definetely would prefer there to stay again in our next visit to rhodes. Beds were very comfy and brand new. Thank you so much!
Sperveri Boutique hotel is like a tranquil oasis in the middle of Rhodes Town. It’s brimming with old world charm and the staff make you feel incredibly welcome. Our stay there was excellent! Breakfast was delicious every morning, served in the beautiful courtyard. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival and our room was absolutely exquisite! The hotel is 5 mins from the beach and 10 mins from the old town! There are bars and restaurants a stones throw away! The location was perfect!
We stayed at the Ibiscus Hotel 8 years ago and had a great time. This time we traveled with several friends and everybody was very satisfied. We all got ocean front rooms. The rooms are renovated, beautiful, clean, the staff is still so friendly and efficient, the food is amazing and the breakfast is out of this world! The location couldn't be better, right on the beach and walking distance from all main sites. We highly recommend this hotel in Rhodes.
The hotel is lovely, very clean, friendly staff, great value for money & good options at the all inclusive including a variety of alcoholic drinks. The pool is very nice & never had issues getting sun beds. Room was spacious & comfortable & we had a lovely balcony. The hotel is in a great location - walking distance from old & new town. Overall it was excellent value for money
The location is great, just in the centre of the old town. The hotel host Dimitra was so helpful and tried her best to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as it could be. We even hugged her while leaving Rodi, it felt like we were leaving from one of our relatives' houses :) Breakfast was very good. Can't say enough positive things. Highly recommend it.
I loved my stay at Hotel Riviera. The position is perfect. It’s just 20 meters from the beach. It’s located in the heart of Rhodes Town. 20 minutes walk from the old town and 10 from the port.
The staff are very helpful and always smiling.
Rooms are beautiful and I had the balcony with a perfect side sea view. I’ll come back again!
The hotel is conveniently located at walking distance to both the old and new Rhodos, directly on the beach with clean see and services.
Staff is friendly and supportive, the hotel is clean and the breakfast has a good variety of food.
There is no dedicated parking, but plenty of space in the surrounding, at least in September.
One of a kind hotel, smack dab in the heart of Old Town Rhodes. It is like being transported back in time. Katerina is so kind and helpful. She will be there for you, whatever needs or questions you may have. Super comfy mattress, and a beautiful Greek breakfast every morning.
Stunning property that combines the best of both worlds in old town with modern facilities. The staff, Susan, Rosa and Toula will do everything it takes to make sure your stay is top notch. This is a gem of a hotel and do not look any further. Greek hospitality at its best.
Hidden gem boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town. The decor of the rooms, the serene courtyard and absolutely best staff make this hotel a must stay. Georgia was the best host that you could ever hope for. I can’t rate this place highly enough.
Friendly budget hotel right in the centre of Rhodes Town and a short walk to the bus station. Comfortable room with a sea view ( from the third floor - lower floors view may be blocked by buildings). Good breakfast included. Easy check in/out.
The hotel is located in the Old Town, only a few minutes away from all top spots and restaurants within the walls of the Old Town.
The staff is very helpful and does their best to make your stay a pleasant one.
Breakfast was rich and tasty.
We like the excellent staff ! Great thanks to Mika !
We like the great tasty breakfast and the Cocktails of the eve pool bar.
We like the position so near to the Old city and near the sea ! Best Hotel in Greece !
Perfect little hotel of Rhodes City. Close to the old town. Lots of bars and restaurants around. Quiet at night. Wonderful staff. Nice balconies with views. Very affordable. The breakfast is excellent.
We only planned to stay here for one night but it was so good we extended our stay, hence two reviews. We are now staying in an All inclusive 5 star hotel south and I just wish I was back here instead.
This boutique hotel is so friendly and helpful.
It is very close to the Rhodes city center, 10 minutes by foot.
It is so clean and the lady is also speaking Turkish.
Highly recommended.
The hotel is new and comfortable. Its location is near the beaches and the rhodes old town (with 5-10 minutes of walk). The greak-style breakfast is great.
