Great spot as base to explore the Lakonia area: we went to Neapoli for swimming(great waters) and at night( great for a stroll with many restaurants), we visited Kastania Cave and went to Monemvasia.

Must to do: snorkling on the remains of the oldest town on the planet Pavlopietri. Unforgetable. Dont miss: dinner in restorant near the sea. Take a trip on hill village for the best sunset in Europe. Dont miss spectacular fossil forest on the southest point of greece mainland.

It was very clean and better then I expected as booked it...
It was very clean and better then I expected as booked it the last minute travelling through. The position it’s great sea front and I could park my car outside and see it from the balcony. It might be busy in the summer. It was out of season so the town was quite. The ferry for Kythera is 200 yards away.

You’ll want to make this town more than just a stop-over for the ferry. It’s still very authentically Greek. The beach is wonderful and calm and the food is delicious. The whole town is very kid and family friendly, but not in an off-putting way for those of us young travelers. Για 2 is a nice little taverna that seemed to have the most Greek customers, it’s a little bit further down from the beach, but worth the walk.

It has vilages close by with very nice food, and again gorgeous views. The bed was very comfortable and I would highly recomend it for couples, because of the jacuzzi in the room. The owners are very nice, feel frew to ask them for any kind of a recommendation. All in all, amazing experience!
