Peak season will definitely make this town more lively with more shops open. We came during early April, and the beaches are empty (which could be great if you prefer to keep the beach to yourself). The drive around the island is interesting as most roads are narrow with hills. Recommend to go with the full insurance option if it's not expensive as precocious. The apartment boasted all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, whether indulging in a sweet breakfast or savouring a glass of wine while admiring the sunset. Its prime location in the city centre granted easy access to essential facilities. The property representatives were notably accommodating, readily available to address any concerns. One suggestion for improvement would be to seek recommendations from the property representatives for renting a motorbike, as this may lead to more cost-effective options compared to direct rental. On arrival, we were given a 10 minute briefing on the hotel and Mykonos Town and surrounding areas. This was really excellent as it gave us some ideas for things to do. The hotel itself is about 10 minutes walk and is located up from Mykonos Town on a steep hill.. expect a 10-15 minute walk into town. I was a solo traveler and I didn’t rent a car so the location totally helped me. Also, you can do everything around Mykonos Town by walking. I went out every night to clubs and it was pretty safe to come back later at the night. The staff was very nice too, specially Effie. You are literally steps away. space was impeccable, shout out to the best nights sleep in Greece! the restaurants are very expensive, so we ate out once a day. The grocery store was close, so we shopped there for breakfast and lunch. Grocery store prices way more reasonable than the US.
