A very good hotel, a beautiful well-maintained garden with a swimming pool and sports and children's areas. Very tasty prepared and sufficient amount of food. Clean rooms and everywhere kept clean and tidy. All the staff were very kind. It is located in a quiet area but not far from the city and close to a nice beach.

Lovely village with sufficient dining opportunities. The beach is not exceptional, but good for having a bath. There are numerous beaches around the village in a radius of 10 km, so Metamorfosi is a strategical base for touring the upper peninsula. For eating out I recommend the fish taverna over the harbour and the Pizzeria on the high street.

Small place but has almost everything you need from restaurants to shops and markets. The place is very peaceful and the people there are nice. The only drawback is that the beaches are not very good, but there are beautiful beaches in the surrounding area

I loved Metamorfosi - it feels quiet enough to feel calm and...
I loved Metamorfosi - it feels quiet enough to feel calm and get you relaxed but also busy enough to have things to do and explore. We stayed in Village Mare Hotel (fantastic resort!) with a very short walk to a great beach. Favourite places? The sea (I recommend taking a snorkel, the underwater life was beautiful!), Nikiti - old town (great views of the nearby hills & sea, Barcarolla bar with fantastic cocktails, great feel), and the Sunny Bay Beach bar for a craft bear and kids playground. Also the Blue Flag beach in the evening, just stars and the waves. We went for all-inclusive so ate at Village Mare only - fantastic food selection, even for fussy little eaters. Quiet small place, especially suitable for families. Taverna Vassilis is the place to eat with good food and very good service. Nektar juice bar is a nice place to have a couple of drinks just seating outside and watching the inhabitants and tourists alike having their evening stroll.

Metamorfosi is a small village but has a character. Beaches are nothing special. Golden beach is clean, and small, with a shower and a beach bar. You have a natural shadow. The air is very pleasant because of the pines. I recommend Metamorfosi for families with small children because you have a nice park and playground for the kids. We've been to the Halkidiki area many times staying on both peninsulas in many different areas but interestingly we've pretty much always been pulled toward the middle and ends of them and now we've been to Metamorfosi I'm not sure why. This is a lovely little town that seems to have everything you need for a lovely stay. Nice places to eat and a good selection of different accommodation.

The location is also good, is not crowded at all, and it is only about 2km away by car from the village. The beach is great, we also tried Blue Dolphin Beach and it is definitely worth it. Vasilis and his wife were so nice and made sure we had a great time. They were always available and even prepared small gifts for us, which was really sweet. We can definitely recommend it and would love to come back.

A small and private beach is a few minutes away, separated from the hotel and the courtyard with a pool by a very nice passage between pine and olive groves. While my mobile internet was interrupting, the Internet in the flat was good enough for online meetings. The village nearby has nice restaurants, that always has a free table (compared to other places in Greece at this time of the year this season , that is really a big plus :) ). I was happy to find out that that even fruit sellers accept card payments.
