This was a great place to stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a lovely view and a small balcony you could sit out on in the evening with a glass of wine and a book. The restaurant on the ground floor is very good and popular with friendly staff and is we’re I ate during my stay.

The property was exactly what we needed to start our trip. Away from the hustle and total relaxation. The host Cleopatra was very accommodating and attentive. She provided an excellent ambience in a traditional village setting in Kerames. Her recommendations were excellent and the views from the villa were amazing. I will return on a future trip and recommend the place.
Akoumia is a small and quiet village. Its location allowed us to visit many touristic atractions that were within 1.5h by car. It is an excellent base for visiting both mointains and beaches of central and southern Crete.
