The breakfast needs to be changed every few days. And the mattresses were not the most comfortable I have slept on. Considering the price I think these two need attention. Other than that could not fault the place.

The perfect beach side holiday for those wanting to avoid hordes of tourists. Lots of options for eating out and all within easy walking distance. Plenty of nice beaches and a friendly, relaxing vibe everywhere we went. So many other attractions on the island that it's worth hiring a car - easy drive from Pelagia to Potamos, Kapsali and other beautiful locations on the island.

We fell in love with the island and could have stayed much longer. So much natural beauty, wonderful beaches, charming villages, great tavernas. We did a lot of swimming in the sea, so many beaches to choose from (we liked Loukidimis Paleopolis and Fourni especially). Swimming in the grotto at Avelamos was another highlight. Also enjoyed just driving through the countryside and stoping in town squares along the way to eat and explore shops. Mylopotomas was our favorite village, eat at the taverna in the center of town. Enchanting. The view from the castle in Chora is spectacular. We appreciated that the island was not over run by tourists. Our accommodations at Castri Village were so comfortable and the hosts were very kind and helpful. It was so easy to walk down to the village and enjoy. We ate every night on the beach in Agia Pelagia. Amazing ambiance, food and hospitality.

I've been going to Agia Pelagia since a little girl and have watched its transformation from a simple fishing village with nothing to do after 6:00p.m. to an active community with many restaurants, music, friendly people, deliciously real Greek food and dance. A celebration every summer evening. Great organized beach (Umbrellas, lounges & service).

Found that most - but not all - beach bars rented their sunbeds with parasoll for EUR 10, regardless of wether you were a customer to the bar, alone, came late in the afternoon, it was windy with no swimming possibilities, no other customers etc. And that goes for all of Kythera (with one exception). I don't mind paying for shade, a chair and WC, but EUR 10 for 2 hours when I have just eaten a salad in their bar! The beaches are free, and many wonderful, so I just hope for the bar keepers sake that they figure out how to get me and others as their customers. Basically Agia Pelagia is a good base camp, but you need a car to explore Kythera and visit all the wonderful beaches around the island.

For Kythira this is a beach town that actually has somewhat of a village fealing to it. It is still very small and only offers a few restaurants and beach bars. But the bars offer quality coffee, cocktails and food.
The beach is very nice and quite big. Mixed peddles and sand. Great swim.
There were two places for parasols at the beach. We went only to one ones and had to pay a ridiculous amount of 10 Euros. Way too much and for me enough reason to not return.

Used my husband's account to book this location. Hence the Christo name. I traveled to this location with my sister to fulfill a 30 year dream to come to Kythera. This hotel was just the best! The sea view, the breakfast with local, fresh ingredients, the hotel condition and the absolutely wonderful staff. They could not have been nicer people and so caring of any need that we had. Telis and Zina were such warm people who really wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.
We just loved every minute! Thank you Anesis Hotel!
The friendly, helpful and generous host, Vana, who has the perfect balance between supporting without being obtrusive. The property is in a quiet, peaceful, elevated position with a fantastic view of the southern Peloponnese-the sunrise is breathtaking! The location is five minutes or less from a variety of shops and restaurants and a lovely beach.
The location is great. Beautiful view of the sea, hearing the pleasant sound of the sea from inside the suite. It is easy to find a private beach around the suite for swimming. The beautiful view of the surroundings and the olive groves. It is perfect for every taste, climbing, swimming, diving, walking, cycling... and...
Everything was perfect, the best choice. The room was spacious and cozy, with a marvelous view of Agia Pelagia beach.
the cleanliness and the people were amazing indeed. It combines everything to spend your holidays pleasantly and carefree....! Well done to the whole team!!!! Keep Going...
The amenities were exceptionally good for the advertised level of this hotel. The premises were spot clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was more than comfortable for a family of four. I would definitely recommend Anatoli Hotel to anyone who would like to visit the island.
Excellent view, very clean and neat not only the room but also the whole complex, very friendly and discreet people. Agia Pelagia (village) has all you need for a comfort and relaxed staying, e.g. market, coffe shops and 2 of the islands most exceptional fish restaurants.
Clean, modern and spacious apartment. We had a very nice terrace to enjoy the good outdoor life. Close to the beach and restaurants at walking distance. In our opinion a more “tourist” region compared to other parts in Kethira. Breakfast was basic, but of good quality
as it’s out of season it was lovely to have a roaring fire in the evening, our host Dimitrios was very helpful and informative about the island , also made sure we had plenty of firewood .
and due to its elevated position it has great views we will stay again .
Beautiful place next to the beach, I would recommend it to everyone since some of the most beautiful beaches are 5-10min drive from the apartment. Also if you don't have transportation, the beach next to the house is quiet and perfect for swimmers.
Very warm and gentle people, overwhelming in making our stay comfort!!
They love by heard their job, I am very impressed and I readily recommend everyone who want to spend some days in Kythera to choose for accommodation the Venardos hotels!!
Newly built apartments, comfortable, well arranged, squeaky clean, spacious, and well equipped. The host, Mrs. Konstantina was welcoming, eager to assist, and provide everything we needed. The beach was very close and easy to access.
We stayed one night at the end of September, so peaceful, quiet, amazing views. Having your own private pool was amazing. This island is full of adventure and beaches it was nice to escape to a more excluded area and rest!
Very helpful and a good source of information about where to go how to get there and what you can do. Plus being local they have historical information about the island which I enjoyed hearing about.
Beautiful property with great location, close to great beaches and restaurants! Beautiful breakfast with homemade breads and Spinach Pie, perfect way to start the day!
The hotel is welcoming and located close to the beach where we had a lot of fun in the waves.
We liked the walk to Aghia Pelagia where we found some good restaurants.
