Amazing location, beautiful hotel and grounds with excellent food, staff and a great hotel dog called Carlos. Breakfast was particularly good. The staff were really helpful in assisting us arranging trips, day tours and airport transfers. The heated rooftop pool and sauna with the view over the mountains was also fantastic.

Meri and Jurj (Yuri) are so welcoming and kind. When they found out I am vegan they tried to accommodate that, including cooking me rice for breakfast (to which I added their homemade jujubee jam and homemade dried fruit). Several foods come from their garden. Breakfast was included and I paid just 25 lari a day for dinner as well, though they went beyond that: Meri invited me to her friend's birthday celebration and to join in lunch when Meri and Jurj's grandson, son and daughter-in-law visited. The meals were enough to feed several families! She also invited me to hear her and her friends sing at the Orthodox church, just beautiful voices in a massive, soaring, stone temple. The first day, since there were no other guests, they offered me - at no extra charge - the large room with the balcony over their lovely garden. Two days later, for only 15 lari, Jurj drove me to Telavi to a bancomat so I could withdraw some cash, then waited for me as I toured the historical museum, walked with me in the cold to and around the palace of King Erekle II, drove me to Shumi Winery, and picked me up at the Alexander Chavchavadze estate. From eating together to relaxing in the cozy chairs or on the couch (including by the fire!) to playing their piano (me and Meri) to just being included in general, I felt like family. Also, their daughter-in-law speaks English so we enjoyed conversations and she kindly translated for me (otherwise I used Google Translate).

One of the best places I have stayed. Very comfortable environment, clean rooms, hospitable host, best wine and delicious breakfast. A very lovely yard that makes you feel like you are in your own village and a terrace where you can enjoy wine in the evening and coffee in the morning. A good place to experience Georgia and Kakheti

Great location to visit nearby cities.

Great location to visit nearby cities. Very beautiful Tsinandali estate with lots of variety trees and plants. Squirrels are jumping near you in the park and it's very nice. Vine and food are tasty but expensive compating with Tbilisi.

The resort is compact but self sufficient.

The resort is compact but self sufficient. They have their own wine production too and the staff are knowledgable to share information. The restaurant staff are very polite and friendly. They speak good english too. We were a family of 4 so we got the suite room which was just nice. The view from the room was gorgeous!

It was amazing trip, the best facilities, cleanest room and the most important - excellent and fantastic staff. They made our stay unforgettable. When they found out, it was birthday trip, staff made us gift in the room (letter with best wishes, champagne and snacks). You made our trip amazing. Thanks!
