Easy hotel - good price - good room

This is a truly atmospheric Hotel, and I do not mean, shabby, or uncared-for! It is a real manner, with labyrinthine passages, and gorgeous public rooms, the staff are young, overworked and uniformly excellent the young man who served me my dinner and the ladies at breakfast Deserve special, mention and as the lady on the front desk. The room I stayed in had been very recently refurbished and was very smart, indeed, fitted out in various shades of grey with a grey slate bathroom. It blended very harmoniously with the rest of the property. Astonishing. If you were anywhere near Sheffield, Barnsley and it’s environs deficit This beautiful property, spend a little time in the lovely grounds and reflect that it is still possible to enjoy this level of quality without spending a king ransom. Congratulations to everyone concerned, I shall return!

The staff. They all were so friendly, from reception to the cooks darting in and out during breakfast. Efficient and professional.

This was the 3rd time we had visited this Hotel and we love it every time! It was my partner's birthday and the lady on reception very kindly upgraded us to a Four Poster Room free of charge, which was a lovely surprise and the room was amazing, so thank you again! The Menu had also changed and there seems to be a lot more choice, the food was fantastic too! We will definitely visit again and hopefully soon for my birthday 😊
