We enjoyed our stay at the Hartnoll Hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly, we had a lovely room which was larger than we expected as it was called a "cosy double". The food was excellent, especially the homemade bread. Locationwise it is possible to walk about quarter of an hour along a footpath to arrive at Knightshays NT property, which is very well worth a visit.

The Red Lion Hotel features a bar and a terrace in Oakford. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property.

Lovely location but be aware that it is remote. The building is an old Devon farmhouse and very beautiful and as it is a working farm I woke up in the morning to the sound of the cows in the field - vey peaceful
